incorrect details
by Sharique sami on Mar 27, 2010 10:17 AM  | Hide replies

in this article its not mention at the time of division what happens in bengal and punjab. wide spread riots in bihar and U.P.

total 1.4 millions died of which 8 lack muslims and 6 lacks muslims.both sufferd from the insanity of violence.

its time to think forward and look future. if we look backward then india will not devloped as a super power.

justice have to be done at any cost whether its modi or afzal guru. advani or ajmal kasab both are equally resposible.

Between all this religious polarization and radicalization ..
by E darwin on Mar 27, 2010 10:02 AM  | Hide replies

Between all this religious polarization, radicalization and subsequent scavenging that had the epi-center in middle-east (near Arabia)..

We Indians have to leave room for those who want to come home, those who want to breathe the way we were.

We see each side beating the dead horse again and again for political mileage from either side of hate spectrum.

When they blew up Buddha statues in Afganistan to wipe out or sever/cutoff any trace of Hindu-buddist ancestry of Afganistan-pakistan people.

Who raised the voice?

There is none left or almost none left un-converted in those regions to make any noise of protest.

So let us leave this hate and divide. Let us keep the door open for those of our converted kind who want to return back home...

recently a senior IPS officer, Anju Gupta spewed her verdict on Advania..

it seemed like bania-monia on both end of hate spectrum... Gupta on one end and advania on the other end. it is like taking advantage from both ends. this is HORRIBLE sorts of politics that even some people play on either side of borders and even in the world.

Re: All Indians give Lip Service Only for K pndts

if there was no india,
where would kashmiris GOOO? IN Pakistan, they would surely be converted.

Once peace returns in Kashmir to some extent, we need to bring peaceful sorts of people like Tibetans, Sikkimese, Arunachalis to settle in Kashmir to begin with.

They will provide good buffer for K-pandits as well. Nehru made mistake in his kashmir plan and thus there was no buffer for k-pandits and thus they became direct targets.

Buffer can cool off religious radicalization. We need less radical people in kashmir be it Aliens if need be.

All Indians give Lip Service Only for K pndts
by ria kh on Mar 27, 2010 09:38 AM  | Hide replies

The Hin--du custodians only give lip service to Kas--shmiri Pan--dits who have been uprooted.
They are only USED for discussions as if Indian mzlms are responsible for that catastrophe.
Why didnt the BJP govt do something for them when they were in power.
Why is that despite Indian temples having billions and billions of rupees overflowing, why that money was not used for upliftment of K Pandts?

Rule of law has turned a full circle ......
by Globalcrusador on Mar 27, 2010 08:34 AM  | Hide replies

It is nice to see the rule of law of the country catching up with the guilty even though a decade or two have passed. If found guilty, both Modi and Advani deserve to be punished for taking the law into their own hands and for misleading the nation.

Exactly the point
by Mr Walker on Mar 27, 2010 08:29 AM

This is exactly the point that our so called seculars conveniently forget or do it deliberately playing a game like that of Yhaya Khan to keep the opposition to their thrones suppressed.

Every single definition of dictinary word is changed conveniently to suit the needs of power play, so death of 2000 or less is genocide but the death (with horrible torture and by army) is ignored because it happened to Hindus ????

Where is the equality anyway and how different are our seculars from that of Yhaya Khan and his cronies ??

While a babri Masjid case is used to persecute opposition the same seculars never say a word against bomb blasts and riots after that why ??

The same seculars cannot punish the criminals of 1984 riots why ???

Just for the sake of political opposition these guys support people who are openly anti-India and religious fanatics who want to convert entire India into an religious state ???

So army in Kashmir is bad , never mind that they have to face an openly hostile crowd of illegal immigrants and a proxy war by the hostile neighbour ??

In fact I would ask the author to also publish the death toll of rioting in 1947 religion wise let us all have a refresh of memory as to who has been at the receiving end for so long.

Biased thinking against Human Race
by abdul empowerment on Mar 27, 2010 08:27 AM  | Hide replies

The article of Mr.Vivek Gumesthe spills toxic effluents and foul air to the Human Spirit being lately emerging in the World after getting settled the dusts of misunderstanding, foul play and futility of crimes and genocide perpetuated using various veils, a major one being religion. You please tell who is Yahya Khan for the Muslims, a perverted Army General of Pakistan born under the fire of neglect, oppression, jealosy, hatred and thirst for power brewed by the Leadership of Undivided India, Some used Islam, some used Hindu, some used Sikh and the Britishers played into the Great Soul of India with Grave injustice.

Some ignorant leaders to build their image ,to command a section of human fraternity run over the Dead Bodies of millions people world over using various dogmas including religion and the writer is indirectly inciting and influencing the Indian psyche toward more bias and permanently harming the emergence of an Indian Conciousness. The people of Gujarat who were massacred in the name of Religion must be given justice and show to Banagladesh and Pakistan the culture of India. Trying to show Indian consciousness just as that of Pakistanis or some headless idiots having name as Muslims should not be used to suppress human rights and every civilized humans should work against Bangladesh genocide,Kashmiri Pandits displacement and all other human rights violations all over the world

So now reality becomes toxic for you ?? but we Hindus have drank it and burned under it for centuries and you are afraid of even a small dose ??

Who is suppressing human rights ?? you keep on shouting for rights violation against Mozlems but do not want anyone else to show the other figures ??

We dont think all Mozlems are bad but there is a strong tendency amongst many to hide the truth and cry foul on smallest things they find inconvenient.

For once face the truth that we Hindus have suffered badly and have far more genuine reasons to shout at others.

Even then we dont do it and live in peace that gives opportunity to guys like you to shout at everything.

Kindly understand for me people of India are my fraternity and I can not differentiate humans on the basis of Religion or Region.Anybody who express or act in biased way have ulterior motive and they are in reality against their own community.

I fully support your views on justice for gujarat.. we need to give justice to our people for sure, not just for show.
One genocide should be be the reason for the other.
I differ with you about the purpose of this article. One must talk about other gen01des and seek justice (kashmir is very much part of India) since the 'fundamentalist secularism' is slowing pumping venom inside our communities.

Prove that modi had a hand, and if he is tried all congmen should be tried for numerous atrocities, sometimes silently and sometimes with power.
