If you are spending public money to do so. It is known as misspending and wasteful use of public resources.
This money should be drawn from her personal assets. Specially if the rest of Lucknow is not developed and she is wasting this huge amount of money on such side shows.
I am happy that you have raised voice against the gandhians-nehrus and their injustice towards rest of social reformers and eminent leaders. But the justifictaion what you gave about installing your own statue that too spending 1000 croressssss (oooooopppps)is pretty undigestible. I want to covey this message to you madam that if every existing bahujan's problem has been solved and he/she has home, food and shelter, then your statue should be carved out of gold but if not, then you dont deserve 1000 croresss.

As you sow, so shall u reap. Uttar Pradesh people didnot know her, now pay for the mistake, electing her as CM. What big thing she has done that she wants to install her statues.
What a shame - 1500 cr for making statues. If it is for a great leader who has honestly served the people, I can understand. But this one is absolutely crazy. Such politicians are doing injustice to people. It is unfotunate that we have very few politicians who are unselfish and service minded. The change should come from people. When we vote make sure we vote for a good human being. If this 1500 cr was spent on helping poor, it would have been greately appreciated.

Bhargava:
Considering that Uttar Pradesh is the smallest Indian state (in terms of population) pegged at a total of only 100 people, she constitutes 1% of UP population, and hence her argument of spending 1% on herself is perfectly logical.... :)
India leads world in poverty, disease, child illetracy and malnutrition. Maywati should alteast spend some money on development instead of doing these stupid things but in India only votes count....
