This kalyanaraman is a fraud. he says that lord rama built a bridge from thanushkodi to thalaimannar. What sort of research talent we can expect from him.

Tamils and Indus Valley - Important Evidence
by Tiyan Aadhavan on Jul 13, 2010 07:26 AM

I read with utmost interest about this article on this page. I have an important evidence which I would like to share with our viewers. An ancient poem (written 2000 years ago by a Brahman poet KABILAR in praise of a King by name IRUNGOVEL who ruled from Tagadur, present DHARMAPURI AND MYSORE)in purananuru (Poem 201) elucidates elaborately that his predecessor Velirs came 49 generations before him from Dwaraka. velirs are important royal chieftains in ancient days who supported Tamil and its culture.

Recent excavations in TN, Andhra, Kerala, etc we found many articles which are akin to Indus valley artifacts. Some of the symbols are strikingly similar. A neolithic Axe found near Nagapattinam adorned with Classical Indus symbols and a Terracotta plate found in Sulur Coimbatore bearing Indus Valley symbols, number of graffiti symbols found akin to IVC pictograms in megalithic burials like Sanur, Musiri, Kerala, Anaikkottai (Sri Lanka), Mankulam, Edakkal caves, Arikkamedu, Karur, Uraiyur, etc points clearly to the fact that people from IVC migrated to South India about 3800 years ago and mingled with local populace.

Iravatham Mahadevan believes that these Velirs created chera, Cola and Pandya kingdoms in TN and started supporting bards who in turn have written unparalleled literature which are unique to Tamil and Tamil culture. People instead of dwelling on Sanskrit puranas, should come forward to read ancient Tamil literature and judge for themselves.

Tamil is older than sanskrit
by ANBU SELVAN on Jun 30, 2010 04:16 PM  | Hide replies

hello fool aryans do you know figures and signs of horses were not found in indus valley civilizattion, horses play a important role in vedas, but it hated cows and horses. tamils were called vellalars that means they can plough land and sow grains. sanskrit is not old language as you think . prakrit is very older than sanskrit. prakrit and sanskrit derived from old tamil. read the history full. most of the scripts found in tamil only. it occupies 58%. you aryans cleverly looted lot of things from old tamil and destroyed the tamil palms

Tamil pride - will
by Nandu Dhurve on Jun 29, 2010 05:28 PM  | Hide replies

I am happy to note that atleast we hv 1 linguistic group like Tamils who take pride in their own language. It comes naturally to them to speak only in Tamil in their own state unlike spineless maharashtrians who suffer from terrivle complex to speak in marathi in their own cities ;like Mumbai or Nagpur.

Only Pune is exception where marathi is dominant even now!

Ironically even a gijarathi in Mumbai will start communicating in Gujarathi unlike marathi who will first start communication in Hindi first!

Marathi will also spea in Hindi with North Indians Doodhwalas, watchman, Autoriskshawalas, Panmasalawalas etc unlike Bengalis or Gujarathis who will speak in their respective language in their own state with North Indians.

That maharashtrians will battered by Hindi dominant media in recent spark with MNS ... should serve a lesson to Maharashrians that ignoring or even worse having a inferiority complex to speak u r own language is not only harming marathi but individually u also do not get any respect.

Just take a look on any Channles, u will hv Baenagi leaders including Mamata, CM, Pranab speaking in Bengalis evn on Natioinal channels regarding Bengal issues like their Tamil counterparts. This is unlike CM of Maharashtra or any leaders who will spek in Hindi regarding issues pertaining to Maharashtra.

When u do not hv any respect for you own language ie. marathi ... Mahaarshtrians in turn will not get any respect.

Even Sachin the cricket icon to retain his image had to say that Mumbai belongs to all Indians and not Maharashtrians.

Whould any one ask Saurab the same question : whether Kolkatta is not a Bengali city but belongs to all Indians?

Hello Madhwa, Have you heard about Tholkapiam, purananooru, agananooru? Better try to learn what these are, and then post your comment.

You frog in a well, just tell me in which part of the world still Sanskrit is spoken by people. Sanskrit is no more a spoken language. Only some sanskrit words are still used in other languages. As such Sanskrit is no more a spoken language. Tamil is still a spoken language. You know "Survival of the fittest". Tamil will Survive forever.

While I agree with you on the first part of your message but I disagree with your statement like only some sanskrit words are in other languages. Bengali, Malayalam, Hindi ..and many many other languages are full of Sanskrit words. While we can glorify our own languages, we should not talk ill of other languages. Sanskrit is a great language and let us leave it right there.

DMK means.....
by Bharath Varsh on Jun 28, 2010 08:54 PM  | Hide replies

Thi. mu.ka( in tamil DMK) stands for " thirukuvalai muthuvelar karunadhi" family. If people think it is a political party all are thoroughly mistaken. It is party, of himself, for himself and by himself. Dravidian movement all by the way to fool people and make money. Main motto is that his family should have a spl " classical" status!!!
