Towards amore civil civic arrangement

Nothing of these alternatives will really work in a society that has moved far away from the traditional culture and practices. Any dispensation that is cognisant of concern for the next neighbour alone will prove the best in translating the plans. This needs a thorough rebuilding of the structure of entire social fabric recollecting the advantages of our joint familt system, though it may not be cent per cent foolproof. Notwithstanding, another alternative needs to be envisaged, and worked out on the same lines and with the same tenacity as that of Mahatma Gandhi. We have to impress and insist on every eligible voter to follow the rule 'one vote to one individual, one family, or one party once only for any local body, state legislature or central legislature. This will put a check to power and consequently absolute power. Remember the saying"power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Good people can't survive in politics.

Dream on! I am so much disgust with these politicians and babus that I don't want to go near them. They will not allow some good people to do anything either! Politics has become the last resort of a criminal!
