Think of futute
by Govind Lal on Jul 01, 2010 10:35 AM

In the present day world of promoting globalization etc every country need to think of enactments for the protection of its sovereignty and life of people. Unfortunately the Congress and its leaders are thinking how to save the corporate from the civil liability etc. The enactments in circulation are meant for saving the corporate by some kind of alibi. The Congress is the party under which we gained our freedom. Leaders of Congress at the time of freedom fight have a different attitude and vision compared to the present day leaders. The attitude of present leaders is to be changed if they want to retain the good name it has as the party that lead us to freedom. It seems the present attitude will take them to assume the designation ‘sellers’ of India. It is high time the right thinking leaders, if present, take up the rein of the party to drive it to reach the destination as envisioned by leaders who fought for freedom.
The present need is a LAW that is strict and favourable to India and Indians.
This does not mean to forget about the compensation etc.

Bhopal Tragedy
by PVRao on Jun 23, 2010 12:19 PM

If the Government says it will spend 1500 Million and clean up Bhopal none of the Indian public realise that its making a hole in our pocket. Why not the price be recovered from Eveready who bought the UCIL properties and made huge profits by selling some of them in Mumbai,Chennai etc. They carry the Goodwill of Eveready Brand to cash the popularity, but do not want to share the clean up or compensation costs saying they are not part of the disaster. When UCIL sold properties to Eveready India our SEBI is sleeping or what?.If we are united we should ban buying the Eveready products.

Cong allowed Qutrechi to escape !
by pid on Jun 20, 2010 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

Congress is selling the nation to foreigners ! It allowed Warren Anderson to escape in 1984, Qutrechi to escape later on !

It is the most dangerous party in India ! Unfortunately, Indians do not realise this and go by rhetoric like AAM AADMI, GARIBHI HATAO, etc.

What do you expect from a country which is indirectly run by a foreigners.
Manmohan Singh is just a front to cheat indians.
The actual ruler of the country is Italy.

THE BHOPAL BOTCH-UP

By: Bennet Paes

Mired in a legacy of lethargy, India is now trying to bring back the horse that had bolted away from its stable 26 years ago. That horse is one Mr. Warren Anderson, now 90, and living on borrowed oxygen. It’s almost like flogging a dying horse, but the Indians see wisdom in shutting, no matter how late, the very gate they had once left wide open for Anderson to flee.

Let us for a moment imagine that they succeed, and Anderson is down here on a stretcher, hardly able to speak, and his lawyer doing the talking. Putting it bluntly, India tells him that he is accountable and charged for the Bhopal disaster. The lawyer rejects the charge saying, after 26 years it sounds like a ‘broken record’ and prepares to file a counter suit.

If it had taken 26 years for India to reach thus far, God alone knows how many more years it would take for a 90-year old Anderson to be finally convicted or acquitted. The ensuing judgment could at best only serve as an epitaph on his tombstone.

nitish kumar vs narendra modi.
by virat v on Jun 20, 2010 02:00 AM  | Hide replies

nitish kumar action has boomranged on him. his returning of cheque of 5 crore to modi has been a funniest action taken from a mad politician.

first question, y didnt he utilise the money for 2 long years when the same was given by guj ppl to help reduce the sufferings of bihar ppl.

then, y didnt nitish return the cheque then. y now, when elections r near.

y did nitish come to hug modi n take the photo with him n then subsequently angry over the photo.

whats the fault of photographer whom he has punished wen nitish himself is holding the hand with modi.

such behaviour is not done even between 2 enemy countries like ind pak. even ind or pak wudnt hv returned such money paid during natural calamity. n here, one state leader of ind is behaving childishly with other state leader.

lastly it wasnt modi's money that nitish returned, its an insult to both of guj ppl n bihar ppl.

nitish has become biggest cartoon after manmohan singh in ind.

Blame our Government
by jibanendra mahanty on Jun 19, 2010 10:51 PM

Why blame Union Carbide or Dow Chemicals, when our own Government had arranged for the Great Escape of Warren Anderson??

So blame the Gaddars/Traitors of our own Country instead of blaming the outsiders.

A true Indian would have detained Anderson, in Delhi preferably, till every victim and affected person of the Bhopal Tragedy had been fully compensated for the loss and damages caused by the Union Carbide.

The political class has shredded the ethos and faith of a common man. Bhopal like accidents are happening everyday, just the place and mode changes. The common always faces the wrath. Corruption and nepotism are the order of the day. Nothing would happen to UCC or Dow nor corrupt babus and ministers would change. We are sitting in a volcano.
