There is nothing called Indian Americans. There is either indian or American and not the both. Please remember kids who are raised in USA are normally going to consider themselves as Americans. Ofcourse I don;t blame them. It all depends on where you grow.

Bollacks. They are very much Indian American, until they produce children of their own. Their parents (the 1stgen) and they are Indian Americans.

its sound good...but reality is as kumar said... recently i met some american born indian..he was pure vegetarian too....but they told me there father and mother were born in india he is american....

Kind of depends upon what values u get. I hv 2 nieces. 1 considers herself culturally indian & nationally american. & the other says she is totally american.. The former has a white american mother.
English language has faulty historical need to keep silent letters and weird sounding spellings. Its time they reform it where there will be no need to waste time in remembering spellings. You don't need to remember spellings in most Indian and many european languages because they are better structured and more practical. Spelling needs in English is pure waste of time for keeping historical backward compatibility in human scale.
