Crime and Criminals
by Balan Iyer on Jul 27, 2010 10:39 AM

Corruption,Bribery,Extortion etc are well dese
rved by India and its people, driven by the mass psychology of lionisation and appreciation
of Crime and Criminals. It is a sad truth that majority of us are positively inclined knowing
ly or unknowingly to persons indulging in all negative activities, while having scant regard or respect to clean and neat ones.I still remem
ber, when the flick Ardh Satya demonising the don of the underworld hit the screen, there was not much welcome for it;but when another diamet
rically opp. flick glamourising and lionising the same don hit the screen, the general public welcome it with full heart and there were rave press reviews about it.This was sent to Oscar also as an Official entry;but got rejected in
the prelimianary review. The moral of the story
is Democracy meets the aspirations of the maj
ority of people;but the minority can not be gagged.

The stories will go on

Media is nothing but business who publish news for money.

One good thing is people have no faith in Media and news. We just read and ignore.

I am sure, if India has to survive sicular parites like Congress should go to dust bin.
My family mebmers were followers of Old Congress. Now, being educated, I realized how the great Congress party is anti-national.

I am sure, educated youth will relize this slave Govt.

I am not slave of any party.
I vote based on the merit of the candidates.

As a voter I have right. But I have admiration for Old COngress and RSS. Old COngress that was lead by stalwarts like Gandhi, Patel, etc... Not current day slaves who begged a Italian to rule this nation.

"Media is nothing but business who publish news for money." I so much agree with this statement of yours, and would like to add that they sensationalize news for the sake of money. They go to the extent of becoming judiciary and start accusing innocent people of doing acts not done by people.

I just wish media were more responsible and not accuse/allege people, they should leave it to the judiciary. They should report events/incidents not marginalize communities

revolution only can save the country from these daciots
by venkataramanan subramanian on Jul 27, 2010 09:38 AM  | Hide replies

Only a revolution can save the country from these treacherous leaders. It is high time the people rise up and give a serious thought as where we are heading, and what is the future in store for us as well as our future generations. The students wing should involve themselves actively and try to take the law in their hands and teach these DACOITS a lesson which should be remembered by the generations to come. The swearing in ceremony at the time of taking charge of the state is all farce and the name of SATYAME JAYATE and the BHARAT MATA slogans is PUT TO SHAME by these DIRTY POLITICIANS.So masses think and act fast and save our MOTHERLAND.

Politicians as dirty as people.
With out social change, nothing is possible.

After all, RSS is the only institution that think about the nation.

Communists supported China during the war.

Congress divided the people on caste and religion lines. Created vote banks and wants rule for ever at the cost of the nation.

Media just think about business. Most of the channels survive on paid news.

No need to be very cynical about POLITICS.

Shah nama or naming names
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jul 27, 2010 07:30 AM  | Hide replies

Let him without sin cast the first stone.
All criminals must be brought to justice- not only those from the opposition party.
In case anyone was wondering, this is the same UPA which boasts of having someone called "Mr Clean" at its helm, yet he didn't bat an eye when votes of MPs were bought and sold like like stinking fish in a fish market to save his govt in the confidence vote. in Parl.
And that's only the nice one. His govt forcing the CBI to give clean chits to heinous criminals from Lalu to Mulayam to Maya et al just so as they can prop-up his govt(the typical quid pro quo). "So what Mr Clean", you might well ask?

"Let him without sin cast the first stone"

The staple defense of any criminal.
If BJP has evidence, they can move the court to order CBI enquiries against Congress politicians too. Instead of doing that, they are sitting on their ar$es and busy painting everyone with the same brush, so that they can claim to be 'one of 'em'!
