Dirty Media & Filthy Congress.
by thinkingaloud on Jul 26, 2010 09:55 PM  | Hide replies

Since its the Congress who was behind it, the media will never feel it necessary to investigate the matter even.

Anderson's Flight
by Manas Sen on Jul 26, 2010 09:43 PM  | Hide replies

I think we should not read too much into Anderson's flight out of India, though it is easy to do so for the sake of public sentiment. Instead of getting overemotional, let us analyse the events of that fateful day and the subsequent events. Yes, Anderson was the chairman of Union Carbide Corp, but he had no direct responsibility to run the Bhopal factory. He was not in any way involved in the running of that factory. The moment he heard of the tragedy, he decided to come to India for investigation and to take such actions (humanitarian and otherwise) as are required from the company's point of view. He was detained during his stay here but subsequently released by the then government. In my view, the government decision was correct because he was in no way could be held guilty for the tragedy. The real guilty persons are those who had direct responsibility for the safety measures in the factory. The Indian court also has seen merit to this argument and has passed appropriate judgement. On a lesser scale, if we had indeed jailed Anderson for long, it would have certainly created huge diplomatic animosity, because our arguments for his detention would have been strongly opposed by US as it would not have been in consonance with international law concerning a citizen of a foreign country. I am in no way condoning this huge disaster. I am merely saying that the real culprits need to be booked and that Anderson was not the real culprit.

Sen:

The Indian court has indeed passed appropriate judgement where Anderson has been labelled as "absconding".

But you are right. Since this involves Kangress, anyone who they deem fit to be not-guilty are indeed not-guilty.

The ones who the Congress Bureau of Investigation find guilty are the ones who are guilty.

By the same token, Quattrochi too was purely innocent and the freeze on his bank accounts lifted by the Kangress government with no squeals from the Congress Bureau of Investigation was perfectly justified too, I take.

All good stuff!!

Either someone Or All are Culprits
by Passed on Jul 26, 2010 09:12 PM

Either we need to find who did it, or all involved should be punished. When we know crime happened, we can not wait forever to get the right culprit, if agencies are not able to find the culprit, then all involved, specially people at Top should be held responsible to be punished. Because as a Head of the Agency/Government/Department, they were suppose to take all required steps to make sure that proper procedures are followed.

Sonia Gandhi of India = Alberto Fujimori of Peru

She will loot India and runaway to Italy citing security reasons and Rajiv Gandhi assassination as an excuse.
Because she can revive her Italian citizenship anytime.

How can we expect truth from Congress rule, who from their forefather Jawaharlal Nehru inherited all practices and dynastic rule for ruining the country with falsehood of democracy.
God only save for giving vote for Congress dynasty rule.

why cbi cannot arrest sonia gandhi to interogate bofors
by prem menon on Jul 26, 2010 04:58 PM  | Hide replies

who killed Olof Palme the PM of Sweden in 1987. As soon as the news of Bofors scandal broke out through the Swedish radio, regarding kickbacks paid to the Indian Govt(thr Italian). for the clandesntine gun deal, it did not take long enough for someone to eliminate the then Swedish PM Olof Palme, through a hired assasin. for a terrorist encounter CBI arrested a state for home minister of Gujarat. why the CBI has not taken all 1700 fake encounters done by the police at the behest of congress man.

Instead of whining about the general public being in slumber, why don't you accept the fact that people have realized that the divisive politics played by certain parties will not help their livelihood. The general public is smarter than you think.

Indians were always and shall always be in a state of deep slumber, more so esp. when the Congess is in power. Do u think the Mughals could so easily invade such a large nation with only an army ?Do u think the British could rule us for 200 yrs without our help ? Do u think so easily someone could break India into two in order to come to power ? Do u think we could be taken for a ride on the issue of Kashmir, terrorism, Bhopal...? Not possible if most of them were not in deep slumber...!!!

by Prakash Tiwari on Jul 26, 2010 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

I was in Bhopal at the time of gas leakage and suffered a lot due to gas tragedy....Union carbide was informed to Mr. Arjun that their were major leakages ( two leakage from different pipes ) and they told Arjun that tank would be going to blast ......immediately Arjun Singh flew away from Helicopter...without saving to any people ..so lot of people dead due to only lack of information particularly Muslims ( before gas tragedy Mr. Arjun had given lot of facilities to Muslim people to shake of his vote banking policy).....

Next morning I was there when Mr. Rajiv Gandhi / Mr Arjun were looking dead bodies at every corner of Hamidia Hospital Bhopal ......The bodies were started at main gate of Hospital up to every part of Hospital.

Musleem should awake now.. They should see how the secular parties have used them..They should not concentrate only on Gujarat, They should analyse how & who instigated riots for last 50yrs...They will definitely get the answer.Even Bhopal nobody cared for the dead bodies of Musleem. If it had haapened in kashmir then PM of India would have immediately reached to that spot & compensated the victims heavily...Musleems you are loosing opportunities,Compare yourself with Musleems of gujarat, who are well off under the regime of Modi..
