But why is this particular rape a subject of news, when hundreds of Indian women are raped daily throughout the country. Only when the victim is a white, our police make extra effort to find the culprit. Whereas in many western countries, the rape victim's complaints are dismissed if she happens to be nonwhite and taken seriously if she is white.
Don't get me wrong. Rape is heinous crime, whoever is the victim, and the culprit should be dealt with most severely. But why so much discrimination in India against native women? Don't Indian rape victims deserve the same consideration and support and help from the police as western rape victims receive?
Only in India is there so much reverse discrimination, where the foreigners are looked upon as more special than the citizens. Sigh!
so, will the our poeple now go after their own poeple and do strikes like they do against the aussie.. if the problem is from ourselves we do not care.. if something happen outside all india will show that at prime time.. this is called double standards. in last 9 months ,15 people that too only from hyderabad a.p will killed in US. no one cares..

The arrested person is said to be a teenager who was after her money and ended up raping her after she put up resistance. The teen is now in cop custody.

Normally, foreigners being assaulted in Hyderabad is very rare, this is perhaps the first time that has happened in the city.
If you intend to travel in India, carry a pistol as deterrence and for your personal safety ( to./4mya ) Police department issues arms license for just 100 rupees.( to./3h22 ) Or buy a pistol that doesn't need license ( to./4dik )

If police or their officer visit, they might verbally rape victim n-number of times before she is raped again and again in court room.

no, the commissioner doesn't do that when any localite is raped. but mind it in this case, its the american lady who is the victim and american embassy having its counter opened in hyd. this commissioner HAS TO VISIT HER HOUSE

DAMAGE is directly proportional to the BRAIN and hence a very small uneducated man is insignificant as compared to CROOKED INTELLIGENT EDUCATED brainy man with long range damage power !!
