DISARM &DE-MILITARIZE AF-PAK REGION.
by damodaran mohan on Jan 29, 2010 08:45 PM

The greatest bane of the region has been that the west, especially the U.S. have been pouering in billions of $ and most sophisticated war ammunitions in the region indiscriminately withopout proper accontability. That is why we watch on TV every day how the Talibans are roaming in the rgion on motor bikes and military vehichles with rocket launchers and other deadly weapons. So, what is needed is first, stop this indiscriminate inflow of money and ammunitions.Next, disarm &de-militarrise the zone by declaring about 100km on either side of Durand line 'NO ARMS ZONE' and post U.N. forces to take out the weaponery from the Talibans.Third, the region should be insulated from the influence of Pak army and ISI.Simultaneously impprove governance in both the countries and strengthen democracies by clipping the wings of Pak army and ISI to ensure that the militancy is brought down to Zero level.

fastest way of progress in Afghanistan

Is to convert entire population to Christianity and make English the national language (English is already the world language) Then you will see Westerners emotionally and financially helping Afghan in exponentially accelerated manner. Then Afghanistan will develop into first world nation by the end of the year! This is the way the selfish world really works.

Here is my Take,

1)First Identify national Export Industries , strenghten all national Industries Starting from Karpet making to Dry Fruites Etc.
2) Build Totally New Cities away From AF/PAk Border, where there is enough, water, furtile land and Sustaining weather, With Wordclass Town Planning, settle People From all Province, and Of all range of Social economic Class, Perimeter with farm land to Sustain the City for Food.Internet connection to World, well trained Police and Security and Curruption Free, best Schools and University Tought by Best in World. Let this Be roll Model for Whole of AFGHANISTAN and in That Case Whole of MUSLIM WORLD.
3) India can contribute both by manpower and Rebuilding Fund and Also in Training.
4) Build High VOLTAGE FENCE BETWEEN AF?PAK BORDER SO THAT ONCE WE ALLOW PEOPLE NOT WANTO BE WITH TALIBAN BACK IN AFGHANISTAN, KEEP ALL OTHERS OUT FOR EVER or BOMB HELL OUT OF THEM.

Can these things be DONE YES OFFCOURSE, Rather than what we are doing at present. This is REAL ROAD MAP.

India can never allow Fundamentalist regime in Afghanistan. Our security is affected once Pakistan and China get foothold in this area.
