whenever a indian takes over a american franchise, the quality is gone, typical indian mentality is to make money as fast as possible,i have personally seen good running businesses shut down after indians have bought them, also local indian shops charging $5.99 for dosa, come on how much does it cost them, all chors.
- more health (because the non veg diseases are many) - more LIFE because cows, goats, pigs will be saved - less pollution due to packing, processing meat product - more time saved because meat preparation takes more time - more money saved because meat expense will be reduced
my advise is more and more people with some land at their disposal should grow vegetables, fruits and save the overall food consumption. if organic waste from homes is used, there is saving for the poor guys who have to dispose waste!
I have never seen any foreing country but keen to go USA one day but i think now if i get a chance to go to USA in future. Its probably the live show they must have been to. Lion King show starts at $75 per person. Movies are not usually this expensive, unless its a special show for a charity or something.
its good to see desis do best at what they do abroad and establish themselves. Why are so many desis cabdrivers, cooks and hair dressers in the western world.London,NY,Melbourne it seems the place is swamped by desi cab drivers
Indian food and spirituality are respected world wide. But still customer service is really weak. Lack of sensitivity towards customer needs. You go abroad eat in indian restuarant. you can sense the ego maniac attitude of the hotel owner. he will just stand and watch. Go to a hotel owned by american or europian. u will find that the owner of the hotel is also cleaning your table. thats humility that touches you, set them apart.

bihari babu..which American restaurant have you gone to? In most of them, you have to clean up after you have eaten. That's a norm in USA.

You must have your H1B stamped recently. Only in public food courts, where you have a common eating area and surrounded by many fast food joints, would you have yourself clean up after eating.

The indian restaurants that he is talking about are the ones that are to be compared against the public food courts and the fast-food joints like Subway.
I have been to many Indian restaurants in US (ranging from pretty ordinary to high end ones) and have not experienced the kind of attitude he is talking about. I must say that even the low-end Indian restaurants have manager/waiter who cleans up and serves water.

Go to Jewel of India in New York City.. Their attitude toward Indians are not good. They lick white a-s-s
I have been to this restaurant where the picture is taken. It is/was called Banana Leaf and not Bay leaf. So is the author stating that it's shut down now? Wow! This restaurant served amazing food but the we had to wait for an hour for our food to come. Mr Tamba had explained himself, that the food was prepared from scratch. No wonder it took time.
