First face up and declare pak a terrorist nation..
by Guru Dutt on Jan 20, 2010 11:19 PM

If the government has enough courage, let it declare pak a terrorist nation.. I wonder how the media takes courage to call aussies racist, while still harbouring soft corner for pak and not urging govt to declare terrorist nation and take back mfn (most favored nation) status given to pak..

Payment

How much was the payment to you , to write such a article?

Australia is racist because
1. Government - All societies there are violent attacks, but no government does the following
a) accuse the victims for attacks
b) total inaction, which encourage the lawless elements.
c) government gives the impression that you can attack a Indian and get away with it.
d) Does not register case because it will put its crime free country in bad light.

2. Society - How much fringe elements get support from mainstream
a) The attackers are supported by mainstream and said to be natural reaction to what Indian are.
b) Instead of dondemning the attacks they defend the crimes
c) No prominent citizen come to support the victims only they were defending the attackers.

3) Media
a) Media totally ignores the victim story
b) failing to see Attacks are not stray incidents.
c) Defending the acts and blaming the Indian for the attacks.

4) Law Enforcement
a) The law enforcement wants to project themselves as the very efficient by cooking the books not by law enforcement.
b) The racial attacks are not registered because it will show them in poor light.
c) Jingoistic rather than methodical approach
d) The police support the racist attacks by saying indians are safer in Australia then India

If you call it Racism, then it is there In India, In our Cities
by mammen antony on Jan 20, 2010 05:28 PM

What is happening in down under is neither Racial discrimination nor ethnic discrimination.Aus lot is ethnically an easy going, cool people, and they have never ever been under any sort of compulsions or obsessions of life. And abruptly recessionary impact turned the tide in the merry life , and the misery and wretchedness of the Aussiesslums became intolerable once the influx of neo-rich Indian knowledge seekers started pouring in , especially in the last couple of years, and they infact had to accept that Indians are really a force to reckon with, considering our Intelectual superiority, ability to work hard, and our adaptive nature. In the melee for survival and the eagerness to recapture the paradise lost, they resort to aggressive modes and while chasing the Indians they have in mind the famous Chines proveb "Kill a man and terrorise ten thousand".It is media , politicians, our betenoires, and the anti-India lobbies who give these personal skirmishes a racist flavour to further their unfullfilled day dreams of total distruction of Indian Republic.

Racist attacks endanger Indo-Australian ties
by ynianand on Jan 20, 2010 04:57 PM

All the utterances by the Australians of their own origin or from elsewhere to explain that the country is NOT racist, the damage has already been done, thanks to the inaction of that country to nab the culprits & punish them. The stain and the stink will not easily wash off.
