Reply for Education expensive or Backward in India
by blogged on Jan 13, 2010 10:29 AM

India in not expensive for education but backward in all respects. No recognition to merit, our degree is not recognised in many parts of the world. Secular Country - all applications having religion and caste?? 60 years of reservation still 85% of the religion and caste who are enjoying these facilities are uneducated and have contributed more towards crime rather than building the nation. Its not bad to have privileges for the downtrodden or needy, but assessment has to be done is these facilities reaching right and deserved people, how are they helping to build the nation and reputation of the country.

people not wanted at home, should not expect from others
by delguy on Jan 11, 2010 07:12 AM

I mean, why we go outside in such a way,,we dont go for a better offer or opportunity than at home,we go there to get whatever we can get or find.We must look at ourselves why we are like this,,,,,,. In India a person with annual income of 5 lacks is considered backward, so in no way it says that India is a poor country,,

We Indians have lots of drawbacks biggest one being low self esteem and treating others with disrespect.

We dont respect our own country and culture how can we do that for others no wonder they dislike us.

SIMILAR ATTITUDE IN INDIA
by Anoopam Modak on Jan 10, 2010 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

We Indians lament over the wind of racism, which have put the Indian student community in Australia through sleepless nights. If racism is the cause as reported by the media, for the mis-happenings with the Indian students. then, how do we term the caste system in India, which have been dominating the Indian Politico-economic-socio fabric of its society.

Which Australian student is murdered in India by casteists? Anyway, how is casteism relevant here? Is it OK to kill Indian students in Australia in exchange for caste related violence in India? Stop this hare-brained thinking..

why not send ships and planes to evacuate Indians on an emergency , like some years back when indians from kuwait were evacuated. The govt will seem to have conveyed the message loud and clear to Aust govt and Indian Citizens at home and in australia, that it is capable of looking after the welfare of indians
