Uhm, the man was head of department of his college. He was not the only person killed: two other people which anglo names were also killed. Maybe his race was incidental to this whole thing? The lady in question was refused tenure (effectively, fired from her job). She shoots the people responsible for making the decision... one of whom happens to be a desi.
Nobody wants to be accepted as whites. I think people immigrate to the US and expect to be accepted as Americans. If you look at the immigrant population in the US, you'll find that they've largely integrated into the US (a few choose not to, but this is typically their choice).
Well, facts are complicated and confusing. Its easier just to make up stuff that confirms to your distorted world view: you have never stayed in the US (can't say about the gulf. People with names like varghese have a high probability of having spent some time in the gulf) but know everything about life there and cant be convinced otherwise.

Dont attack him as a christian, even though I dont agree with him at all. He is talking because he is jealous or may be out of concern for india, he had no control over his birth as a christian.

this incident clearly potrays the anger brewing among the White community against the people from other communitues, may be due to opportunity being denied to them.

Create law and order problem and therebu cripple the elected govt(s) 12. Tour nation in the name of mobilising support for party and exibit innovative ideas to trouble the opposition party ruled govts.
So please return home in its urgent requirement of Nation building process.

When I went to USA there was a threating that people fire you from work but I see that once you official fire someone then the real firing starts nice policy. Iam pretty sure this will soon start in India because lot of MNC will fire people. After some 15 or 20 years all new MNC will fire who are working because the company policies have changed so it would be interesting to see what happens in India.

A news on some attrocities based on a career decision raise only issues related to job, regional splits and racism.None bothered or concerned to express any genuine concern or found what his family was deciding to do with their future.I strongly believe we all are loosing our human touch when it comes to some one else'bereavement or personal loss.Iam sure there would be many sincere ones concerend about the future and welfare of the bereaved ones.World has advanced only in certain segments.In terms of humanity and virtues we are driving ourselves behind caring only economic and pleaesure gains.We need to be more humane and sensitive to issues touching lives.
