SRK should introspect
by vijaya kumar on Feb 12, 2010 11:42 AM  | Hide replies

SR Khan should remember, that his parents choose India over Pakistan . He should think what may be the reason his parents humiliated Pakistan and never looked back. SR Khan should realize that because of his parents he is what he is today in India and should imagine his life in Pakistan. Sena is not important at all. What is sad that SR Khan thinks Pakistan was humiliated and he said about it. What did his parents do to Pakistan and why? SR Khan needs to introspect and keep his religion aside and be pragmatic. There was time no one played in South Africa though they were amongst the best in Cricket because SA country was racist. And Pakistan promotes Terrorism and Pak team brings religion in Cricket. No one is against Muslim players playing but Pak is neither human nor Muslim and should not play anywhere let alone India. SR Khan tell us why your parents humiliated Pakistan what are you doing about it?

No matter what Thakareys say, Shahrukh's statement to support Pakistani players was against the national spirit. H never issued statement when those terrorist plotted bomb blasts in Indian metros and after Mumbai attack but he issued statement for not picking terrorist countries players. No Game is above country. we can live without IPL even cricket and also bollywood and bollywood's stolen stories. Neither cricket nor bollywood is national identity. Mumbai is.

why not a Hindu nation?
by Brass Tacks on Feb 12, 2010 11:41 AM  | Hide replies

f India and Pakistan were United earlier on as One BHARAT and then divided by leaders, why is it Pakistan became a Islamic nation with literally NO Hindus live there and why India should become secular nation where the non-Hindus are always the top of agenda when it comes to money, success, media backing, political influneces, minority privileges, and so on?

I am not Sena man but the stance taken by Sena is very correct and fully support it.
These Porkis has always created trouble in our country and still be are first to initiate peace talks.
Who is not brought game into politics,
1. Most of the Arab and Muslim world merrily continue their boycott of Israeli sportspersons
2. Pakistan was at the forefront of boycotting the Moscow of 1980
3. For over two decades South Africa faced a sports boycott by most of the world.

why this ?
by Brass Tacks on Feb 12, 2010 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

With due respect to all communities, let me find clarification on this silly issue that usually nags me at times like this.

If India and Pakistan were United earlier on as One BHARAT and then divided by leaders, why is it Pakistan became a Islamic nation with literally NO Hindus live there and why India should become secular nation where the non-Hindus are always the top of agenda when it comes to money, success, media backing, political influneces, minority privileges, and so on?

Why not India just be a Hindustan where non Hindus are welcome to make a living but without too much pampering and protection and promotion by the government?

When there are Islamic nations (whole of gulf and parts of Africa)and Christian nations(Europe and America), Jewish nation (Israel) and Buddhist Nations(Sri Lanka, Burma, and many other far eastern countries) why an idea of a Hindu nation appear to be so offensive ?

It is not even a conquered nation by Hindus but just by birth they belonged to this land but why is it the invaders and their ideologies are so important here ?

When Islamic followers believe in the concept of a Islamic state and law unique to them, why they cant appreciate the same elsewhere by others?

What has gone wrong with my countrymen ? Why this unwanted fuss over a trivial actor who is just after fame and money ?

What an irony--
Congis always protray that threy r friends of muslims--by opposing SS/RSS & so on--lwasting no opportunity wheevr that crops up.
While-as historically it could be shown that maximum Hindu/Muslim riots hv taken place when Congis were in power.
Congis r thus the astute & shrewd politians--They finish their political opponebts also & beffol the Muslims as well--& Enjoy the Power thus comes asa reward.

Politicians from Shiv Sena and VHP are making Sharukh Khan a scapegoat by entirely changing the meaning of his words. Media is helping the same by putting extra fire. Shahrukh has stood by his words, he is not a traitor but a true Indian. I respect his integrity, very few people have that. He never said that he favoured Pakistan or any other country as such. Both these outdated, brain dead, dumb politicians wants to drag this as a big controvesy. I wish all Indians and educated people reaslise that oppose these goons, so called religious leaders. They have done nothing good for the country but only contributed by riots, destroying properties, threatning people, changing names of cities/place. Let the truth previal and people rise. See what happened to Ram Sene leader in Bangalore, we needs similar action. Peace and Love forever.
