by ratheesh raman on Feb 07, 2010 05:10 PM
what is the point in that. Even parts of f-22, f-35 would have been made in India, china, taiwan, ASEAN etc.
production of parts is not a great thing to be extremely proud at. for example a majority of ball bearings for all the automobiles around world are manufactured in India.
We have to have our own innovative teams making advanced technology of 2020 now, parts could be from any where in the world so long as they are good.
we have the high skilled manpower, but we lack the will to make it.
i am not missing congrats for the missile team for todays successful launch. we are proud of you.

Re: india is making parts for F-18
by Surya Vamshi on Feb 07, 2010 04:33 PM
Dear Friend Gurmeet, all design and production works of F-16's and its later versions are made by Indian Scientists under the banner of NASA,GE etc etc. Starting production of F-18 in India is due to govenment point that a certain percentage should be produced locally only then import will be alllowed.
Instead of discussing a successful missile launch these 2 guys have started to abuse each other. They should be identified and allowed to fight in a ring like animals. Its 2010 now not 1610 - change your mindset PLEASE

I will not abuse anyone unless he abuses the religion in which I have faith. Some people have a tendancy to abuse and drag the name of Hindu religion. It irritate me.

Kargil was failure for this rogue country pakistan, and still their dust army skeltons are seen below the kargil hills, no one from that country had the guts to acccept it. Kargil was great success for India, and more it would be for india if at all this rogue paksitan dares to venture. Another problem india is facing because of this kangress ruling is that, the enemies within the country, and that is most of the muxie minorities. They should be caught and slaughteredlikebakris

D. Goel Pkl., afternoon 4.10pm, Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. I hope for the best that the test of Agni 3 should be precursor of Indian Missile programme catching with other Advanced Defence Systems based on ICBM and other long Range Rocketry including Anti -Missile Defence , that Chinese have already demonstrated A couple of Months ago by hitting a satellite by firing a Space Rocket. The field of Global Rivalry hardly allows one to rest on what niggardly ways we and our plans proceed, than catch up fast with their adversarial Rivals.D. Goel
