Thankless job, merciless masters!
by anil jha on Dec 29, 2010 12:49 PM  | Hide replies

It makes us recall the cruel irony that those who laid down their precious lives during the attack on our Parliament have hardly been paid any compensation and their dependents have been left in the lurch by the government. To add salt to their injured souls, even the perpetrator of that crime – Afzal Guru – is yet to be hanged and he has been enjoying all sorts of fantasies in the jail. This the nature of our spineless politicians whom our great soldiers protected at the cost of their lives. This all can happen only in India. For our soldiers it is a thankless job for their merciless masters.

My dear brother how can the compensation be paid without receiving a percentage from the legal heirs of the victms of the attack. The attack took place in 1999 and the compensation is still to be paid ?

Just think about the family members of that poor soldier standing gaurd to the Mussie in the front . What will the government of India pay his family members just in case he sacrifies his life .
Forget it we must all vote to seek a Bharat Ratan for Sachin Tendulkar instead .
