Assassination of Punjab Gov in Paki shows how intolerable is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan... and its advocates. We have to check, counter and negate these same forces here. Beware Indians, we shouldn't allow these kind of intolerables amongst our midst.
So what? Every body honours its martyrs! Sangh parivar and BJP have never missed an oppurtunity to honour those criminal cadres of theirs who were found indulging into acts of violence against Muslims and Christians of India!

These guys would never know that theirAllah is not on their side. Else he wouldnot have died such aPigs death.
While i find so many leaks and information about CAG audit report, letters written by judges etc - i dont find any single news agency tracking the death of Naik Zulfiqar Ahmed and with whom he stayed in delhi and what happened to his body? This could throw a lot more details of the grand plans of destruction and those supporting the terrorists.
If we are not secular then we are like Pakistanis .Can`t we see the fate of that fundamentaist country or any other such county for that matter? Come on, we are a >60yrs mature democracy, should`nt waste our time in deliberating on these rubbish triveal unhealthy notions. This has never been our culture either from which these our "misguided patriots"(quote from Sardar Patel one of their stolen icon)draw inspiration. Correct.
Secularism doesn't mean being wimps before radical ideologies or that you're not proud of being a Hindu/Muslim/etc.
It just means that the state has no official religion. You are not at a disadvantage in the country just because you happened to be born into the wrong religion. Religion would be strictly a private matter of the individual and separate from the government. The country would be ruled according to the constitution and reason, not medieval dogmas that can't be questioned.
Our liberal society even with its imperfections is truly one of the miracles of 20th century. If we don't uphold it, we'd be just another backward hellhole like Pakistan.

It should be called Dravida Rashtra. South Indians were the original residents of Indian subcontinent.

renukaji, it is time to throw away the dead body of the grand myth of Aryan invasion (created by the british to curb Indian superiority of culture) in to the arabian sea. The cremation has already been done by geneticists and well qualified archeologists from around the world. Only the foolish modern communists and illiterates now subscribe to those silly stories. It has been found out that all Indians (irrespective of northies or southies) are unique and are quite distinct from the european and other central asian in their genetics. There was no much evidence of a divide between the so-called dravidian and aryan races. The word "aryan" in ancient India was used to address a person with higher character. Not to denote a race. Ravana's wife Mandodhari calls her husband - aryaputhr. There are ample proofs in the modern findings, for even a child to understand that aryan invasion was a myth based on false evidences. The JNU commies are the ones who did the most harm to India by spreading the foolish notion to support their marxian ideology (marxism is also foreign). Please do not perpetuate misconceptions!

> original residents
Well, even if that were true (very contentious!), science says that all humans migrated from Africa to other parts of the world anyway, so there really is no such thing as an "original resident" of India.
India belongs to us all. It's disgraceful that you should make a statement like this.
Instead of worrying about where we came from, etc., it'd be really, really nice if we can worry about where we're headed!
