Future of parliamentary system in India
by krishanmodani on Dec 29, 2010 04:26 PM

The Preme Minister thinking about the future of Parliamentary system should be thought of every civilians today. No doubt the corruption in 2G should be highlighted but the method to disturb the working of Parliament seems not justified at all. Various issues which should be discussed in the Parliament will not find place now in it. Really the democracy system in India was choosen by our Constution Creaters in the interest of public but after experience of 63years by the country the system seems ineffective and incapable to deal the accused or to persons who are deliberately "looting" the country in their own interest.

Time is Ripe for a Grand Manhbharat War Now!
by True Hindustani on Dec 28, 2010 07:24 PM

The reason why crooked nehru dynasty has endured, fooled&looted 85 crore hindus is that they have bribed and bought media and intelectuals and even security agencies and foold and looted the nation and majority hindus using all sorts of dirty &Goebbelian tricks and the farcial democracy has helped this crooked dynasty to thrive and fool and loot the nation too.The epic mahabharat is being enacted now in front of the eyes of a billion people and that is the greatness of this great epic, mahabharat. When draupti was being molested by dussasan, duryodhan and co in the royal hall of Kaurav King Dhritharashta, none of the great warriors and intellectuals like bhishma, kripa and dronachraya intervened and sat like statues doing nothing to prevent the outrage and molestation of the helpless woman.Fortunatelt Lord Krishna listened to the pareyers of the helpless draurpti and with His Blessing, the socundrels and molesters dussasan and duryodhan were not able to do the derobing and they collapsed with fatigue.Afterwards, angry and anguished Draupti dresses herself decently and shouts so oud that whole universe can hear , to all the great warriors around her the famous question,"why you silently watched the molestation and did nothing to prevent this criminal and rape attempt on me in front of your eyes?" The great warriors covered their faces in utter shame and now 85 crore hindus are in a similar pitiable shameful situation,What a Shame

Manmohan came to the parliament through the Rajya Sabha. That too from Assam. Why. Because he cannot win a Loksabha seat. The first time is okay because, it may have been an emergency. Why did he do it in this election. Because he has not been able to win the confidence of people in one assembly seat even after being prime minister for a term. In short he has bypassed the democratic procedure. Is not that worrying?

Another worrying point is that he is not listening to the parliament. But he does not consider as worrying.

I am worried about Cabinet system of collective responsibility. How easily our Pappu Prime Minister gets off the hook. He ignored Raja's commissions for two years. In the meantime he has also justified Raja. Now he disowned every thing. Where is the collective responsibility. Does his responsibility gets over only by writing a letter, without monitoring its compliance. Even a class 12 student could have written a better letter to Raja.

We should switch to presidential system
by Sharad on Dec 13, 2010 08:56 AM

where the president is directly elected by the people and he/she governs the country with 'people he appoints to head the various govt ministries'. He/she cannot be president for more than two terms of 4 years, like in the US.

Politicians (MPs) should be 'excluded' from heading ministries. They can only 'pass' laws not 'administer' them. The president should be allowed to 'VETO' laws passed by parliament, so that these 'MPs' do not have unlimited power where they pass laws taking money from business men, trade unions etc. We should have term limits for MPs/MLAs/MLCs. They should not be allowed more than two terms. The same kind of system should be followed in the states, where the GOVERNOR is elected directly by the people. All politiciancs should be allowed only two terms.
