INDIANS NEED A GOVERNMENT THROUGH ELECTION. YOU CAN ALSO TRY. BLAIMING OTHERS AS IF THAT WITHOUT POLITICIANS iNDIANS WILL DO EVERY THING IS SOMEWHAT IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE THE SYSTEM HAS TO BE MAINTAINED FOR WHICH A GOVT AND POLITICIANS ARE NECESSARY..

Better some minor corruption in Congress than communalism, bigotry and hatred of BJP

loyalty has a context
by Ramesh on Dec 10, 2010 03:57 AM  | Hide replies

Even her core team, consisting of Ahmed Patel, Oscar Fernandes, Janardhan Dwivedi, Digvijay Singh
-----------------

Mr. Oscar Fernandes is a fascinating choice to be in the core team. A one time election agent of Late TA Pai, a former Central Minister, Mr. Fernandes then went on to contest against him when Mr. Pai quit INC; and won.

Mr. Oscar Fernandes has his base in Manipal-Udupi-Mangalore region and is firmly rooted enough to take a Nation first stance if the charges Dr Subramanin Swamy has made, claiming security implications, has a fair measure of truth.

Such team loyalties have a context and the context holds only when it is aligned to national needs.

The loyalty context test is something which senior leaders like former CM Mr Digvijay Singh hopefully shall not fail. Else when history finally turns over the page in future, it would show how he had dug up the grounds leading to Indian loss.

The narrative Mr Kidwai offers is irrelevant. MMS is a PM on his own right, no other could have become a PM over last few years and been credible to survive domestically let alone project a secure India abroad. He has chosen as there was no other better alternative.

The false hallow the lesser talents build around dynasty can be swept as easily and this got to be done. This false front enables endemic corruption to survive beneath the veneer of loyalty. It is this disregard for intellectual integrity which serves the purposes of corruption. Dynasty need to be regarded as the fountainhead of corruption.

In a Princely state, the laws are applicable to the subject, not the King, something akin to this phenomenon is available in dynastic rule. This enables extending patronage to favoured ones, who thereby can also wink at law. The command chain is which breeds loyalty and militates against the rule of civil law. This kind of immunization from the law can be coped up by scuttling all manifestation of dynasty in various states and the Centre. Unless this ugly head of corruption is tackled first, there can be no meritocracy in political front nor any hope to tackle various types of corruption prevalent in the country.
