look at the ladies who are protesting,with their heads covered they even look intolerant and big0tted just like every muslim is. There's a BIG problem with islam
The moment UK became a part of Euro,any body from the Euro countries can enter the country & settle down there without any visa requirements.Lots of the poorer European countries migrated & the inevitable happened.The new European settlers tried to cut into the market by bringing down prices in comparision to his established British counterpart.They are also eligible for the usual free medical treatment,free schools etc.Then we have a huge section of Islamic settlers,most (not all) of whom look down on the local British culture.These are extremely orthodox Muslims who still insist on living their life a certain way & will not interact with anyone outside their religion.Now I am Hindu & I send my daughter to a Christian school.But the child does not have to attend any of the prayer services or Xmas plays if I don't want her to.Will any of us be able to say that about our India where schools thrust religion upon us?Yes,there may be a few stray characters who r full of hatred,but those are the exceptions.

UK IS MORE SECULAR THAN ANTI HINDU COUNTRY LIKE INDIA. IT SHOULD BE SO BUT THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISUSED TO SPOIL ORDER.
Why is the author Sindhu Warrier so worried about this, at last an UK government standing up for their country? All these immigrants come to UK and start violence and drug wars. UK should make English for all immigrants and ban all religious symbols outside worship places. UK is still a protestant country and much more respectfull to others than USA. Let the immigrants study in UK and go home to their own country.

The problems with these Muslims are; there is no freedom in their own home country and when they get freedom in other countries they do all these sorts of trouble to host country.
Actually these Muslims women should demonstrate for freedom of their own people in their own country.
Moreover, if they want to wear Islamic Dress Code of full face veils (Burkah) why they come to civilized countries like UK, France, USA, etc.

the problem is that britain sucked third worl countries for centuries, and now the third world countries emerge faster than tey expected, so these pepole sacered that they will take over by non whites. statics shows that non whites mainly pepole from subconitinent are more productive, harworking so replacing the traditional dominence of whites in all walks of life.

you dont need to give citizenships, look at the gcc countries, they import labor in millions and all settel down there till they retire and go back to their country of Origin, they have prospered infact more than any western countries

i don't think u understand the difference between labour requirements of GCC and Europe/US. Europe/US/UK have demand of high value skill workers unlike GCC where the majority are low value skilled . The demands and requirements of both these kind of workers differ and the GCC thumbrule will not apply
Can people of other religion hold demonstration in Islamic countries asking for freedom of religion and equal rights, Britan like many have comented has become a colony of Pakistan and who else to blame but the corroupt britsher's themselves, the day they moved away from the church they were doomed
