I am afraid the congress party is very foolish to allow to drag the issue like this.It is fighting a losing battle for sure because his position as CVC is untenable. The very fact that he would not oversee the 2G scam in a way demotes him in his capacity or acceptance by the govt. that he is not a fully eligible candidate for the post.It is really astounding that he should become so indispensable for the job when two alternatives are already available from the panel.AM/Singhvi on a TV asks whether he should be cast aside because of the charges which are not yet proved ? No, certainly not.But why can't he be given some other job? Perhaps the govt. wants more drama and then they would act.
it is not a question of Mr. Thomas declaring hs conscince clear n there4 not resigning ,it was expected as much as his dubious appointment by congies was; but it is a question of conscience of this gov. being clear in his appointment,"it is not";CVC hs not only 2 enjoy the confidence of gov. but also the opposition n 4 that matter of the people of india, gov. hs further shown no compuction in making oblique reference even 2 judiciary where they say impeccability of character cannot b a prerequisite 4 making even such appointment; the gov. hs overruled the opposition in selecting mr. thomas whom gov. characterised as a person with enough impeccability of character 4 appoint..., perhaps goodenough 2 enjoy the gov.'s trust..but not that of the people at large's trust...... commies n bjp's n other oppo. n supreme court as well r 1 in this demand that this gov. must b made answerable to this deceit of people's trust by them....
Because this CVC cant function. Opposition would not allow him to function and they are right to do so. So in most of the matter we'll have SC doing all the monitoring of CBI and other investigations. Congress/UPA has brought this country to a situation where Parliamentary democracy is diminished.
P J Thomas's palmolein import case is an example of dirty politics of Kerala. He seems to be innocent. He is caught between the Congress and Communist politics of Kerala.

He is as shameles as his appointers as far as corruption is concerned.Raja's concious was also clear. Why he was forced to resign?
I would like to ask from those people who keeps crying on tv channels always that Manmohan singh is having clean image and honest men ? what is definition of clean image ? what is honesty ???????/ Till now what Manmohan Singh has done for our country which we as citizen of this country should remember to him ?
In his tenure petrol prices has been increased 17 times so far and 3 lacs money has been digested by them and inflations are not in his control . His all ministers are not his contorl, take example, Sharad Pawar,Raja, Ashok Chavan, Vilas rao......etc......what is his achievement as a prime minister ?
Why not media ask from their favourate prime minister tell people of this country ????????/ some of media channels who are always keeps criticising Narendra Modi but these people dont open their mouth for corrupt leaders and corrupt parties.

I fully agree with u. MMS has sold India to USA and surrendered before Pak, and the most corrupt PM of all times. How can the Pranab say that PM need not talk on Raja?It means PM talks his involment also exposed.
Appointing P.J. Thomas was a mistake. In a committee consisting of the leader of the opposition - Sushma Swaraj - the selection should have been by consensus, not majority.
This is avoidable headache which the govt. has unnecessarily taken upon itself.
