we are reaping the blunders of yesteryear politicians and the present crop too is avaricious . you are right in appealing to a thinking Indian, Kalam sahib, to lead the nation for a humble first step the ease the situation at kashmir

Col(Dr) Athavale is right in judging Mr Kalam's
by shailaja khodke on Aug 22, 2010 04:45 PM

ColDr Athvale is right in judging the capbilities
of Former PresidentAbdul Kalam in resolving the Kashmir issue, a true, honest, nationalist will definetly will impress a comman Kashmiri but it seems that Mr Athavle has failed to read the intentions of great politician. It is a big question if they solve this problem then what new issue they need to bring to divert attention of comman citizen who will ask this people of corruption, rising high prices ,infrastructure, employment.

You bet, Congress will derail Kalam efforts, if at all.
by Ram R on Aug 22, 2010 12:57 PM

For sure Congress will try to derail or sabotage efforts of this Great Indian Citizen. He is highly respected person by all the honest Indians. But present breed of ruling class is bunch of thugs. Remember , it is they who did not allow Proff, Kalam to sit as President of India, whom BJP brought in. Even if he succeed in persuading Kashmiri youths, these thugs sitting in Delhi (Read ruling class) will simply keep his findings closed for dusting, same like hundreds of inqury reports,. Vultures and Bagula Bhagat (read MMS)will keep quite till youths are quiet. When this issue is solved, he will just forget it very conveniently.

Violence and Kashmir

Dr. APJ Kalam is admired and respected by nationalist Indians. He is considered enemy No.1 by the anti nationalists and separatists.
Why drag an honest nationalist into the filth created by the most corrupt clan. Even if he agrees he will be left alone and even sabotaged by the vested interested politicians, both at center and state, who breed on corruption and whose very existence is subservient to such chaotic and vicious atmosphere.

make this thing clear first...

tell kashmiris that kashmir is now & always will be part of India even if you kick out all other communities like Kashmiri pandits(which they have already done), sikhs from Kashmir. Showing their Musli majority isn't enough for them to go for autonomy or pakistan. Tell them that they had to first re-establish all kashmir pandits & sikhs & then ask for anything. Their deed of kicking out other communities should be corrected first & then we must talk to them. In other words we should now demand from them rather then listening to their demands. where were human rights activists when kashmiri pandits were threatened at gun point to move out of valley? what was our coward govt doing? where was kashmirat at that time? why no muslim leader speaks anything about kashmiri pandits who were kicked out? why the human rights activists have this double standards in reporting violation of human rights? when human rights are violated against Muslis they create huge cry while noboday even talks when this happens to Hindus? why this double standards in our country? the solution lies in the above question...if they are answered then our every problem is solved.

Kashmiris are far better than other Indians. At least they are revolting against rule, which they do not feel is just for them. We poor Indians are facing on slaught from Govt on price rise, but all are sitting in comfort of their home like impotants.

by gaurang patel on Aug 22, 2010 11:27 AM  | Hide replies

why 2 lakhs kashimir pandits have to go out from valley? who issued them threat? what was our govt. doing ? its due to kashmiri pandits cowardness that this problem has become so big. It has been made looked like there are only Muslims living in Kashmir & so they want to join Pakistan an Islamic nation.

govt should first ask them to relocate all kashmiri pandits & then ask for autonomy or anything else. While this double standards acts of Kashimiris can never give them peace by kicking other communities out of kashmir.
