Split the state into three regions Telangana, Coastal Andhra and Rayalseema. Make Capital cities Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Kurnool all in close promixity of 300 Kms.
Make all the three capitals as Special Autonomous Region with the body comprising of the represenatives of the respective CMs, 3 represenatives from each region, 3 representatives from each capital and 3 independent observers from Center and civil society to oversee assets for the next 25 years..
This includes implementation of water tribunal, a set pattern can be achieved within this 25 years.
This way business interests will be protected for all the three regions as once the three states form, business interests will be coming from all the three regions.
Over 20 years, respective ideologies will get formed and people based on their preferences and business objectives, will choose to migrate or stay back.
The issue of Government postings can also be protected this way as systematic movement can take place..
There is no point with Andhra taking an adamant stand to keep the state united as this is beyond doubt no solution. It will only keep the issue boiling and will be the same state even after 50 to 100 years.
The Telangana movement has only become stronger and stronger over the years. The United bandwagon has only become weaker and weaker during the process.
This learned professor seems to be out of touch with reality. He is critical about every thing in Indian politics but does not offer a solution except bashing BJP. He is all praise for Gandhi, who in my view is the real culprit for present india's situation. We should have gotten freedom like China when whole existing feudal system was destroyed and a new leadership has come up where as in India, the power changed from british lords to our local lords it is the same feudal system that is in existence today. If not smaller states and decentralization of administration what elese deepens the democracy. God save India we have these professors. Yes, he lives in film nagar that explains - I do not know how many professors can afford to live in film nagar?
he has very limited knowledge of Telangana . he does not know any thing about RSS and BJP EXCEPT to critic. Being a professor , he should tell us who is really representing the movement in telangana if not TSR . Mr. Sharma IS TRYING TO DVIDE /confuse the people of that reason.take the example of uttarakhand, chatisgar and punjab and haryana .small state always batter for growth
let there be a vote for telangana. the formation of state is not by demand but by necessity. The political parties should try to understand tha t egypt and andhra are different. if the central govt budges now there is ought to have far reaching concequences
Only people represent the Telangana Movement. At this stage when separate state is definite. People should be warned and cautious that the they chose more eligible leaders than the current leaders who have looted the combined state and want to loot separately now. As Telangana is supposed to be backward than Andhra districts, they should have leaders who understand economy, development measures and provide selfless service. The new leaders should resolve Naxal's problems and speed up the good work. If they do not control Naxals and coal mafia , they new state will be more backward. This needs dedicated services to resolve Naxal issue as well as State development - like education, hospitals, irrigation, electric power, roads and distribution. Else dreams will be dreams only.
good . we need more of this type of articles to make our political system more meaningful and pro people. These political parties have spoiled enough and poisoned the minds of poor and made their life miserable
