Tirupathi Temple Management
by Krishna Krishna on Aug 19, 2010 08:41 AM

It is about time to cross check on other temples, churches, gurudwaras, etc are run and how they keep high degree of efficiency. If suiable controls are not enforced there is always the chance of corruption taking charge at expence of the wishes of the devotees.India has over 2.2 million religious structures and temples whose gross assets are astronomical, with huge land areas, but collection of lease and rents are at very low rate with the unscrupless agents and corrupt benificiaries enjoying the booty. There is a lot to be done. Will the authorities protect the interest of these organisations and use them for important charities like free education to the poor, housing schemes for those who have no roof and improve sanitation and water supply. There are over 500 million people in India who are below the poverty line.Should we not divert efforts to pull them out of the rut?

Prod over it!

I am hindu...but have few interesting facts to make -
1. Have you seen a begger outside Gurudwara and Church: Answer is "NO".

2. Have you seen a begger outside Temple and Mosque: Answer is Resounding "YES".

Why - We are giving to so-called trustyworthy soldiers (temple officials) of god to do charity in the name of god. But they are too engrossed in concept of charity begins at home...sad that Tirupati trust sells laddu to even the poor people while sikhs have free langers!

We are alienating believers by focusing on building temples of worship rather than institutions that preach faith, provide food and shelters to poor and educate the needy! A simple temple without above, is useless icon of social divide which serves the sensibility of only rich and effluent!

So stop idolizing and start think how we can grow this faith and keep the believers from leaving it by offering what is required rather than filling bank coffers our improving asthetic beauty of diety by pouring gold (which unfortunately rests in bank chest or trustees home)

PLEASE FOR BHAGWAN'S SAKE DON'T LET THIS RELIGION DIE!

what happens to all the money....
by Jayaraj Shantharam on Aug 19, 2010 08:19 AM

who takes all the Money offered to Venky...I think ppl surrounding Venky siphon off the funds in the name of Venky... Imagine how prosperous the town of Tirupathi and Renigunta would be if the fund is used for development purpose.
