It's a peace loving country for people living within their country, as it should be. Unlike India which is peace loving for our enemies and a graveyard for people living within.

I totally agree with you. Most of the muslims that I have come across are peace loving, responsible citizens who in fact are contributing to the welfare of the country. Not even 1% are supporting terrorism.

Mr.Vinod...I have been living in UAE for my whole life...I have seen Temples, Churches and mosques and worship centres of other religion all in UAE. I have visited other guld countries and I have also seen the same in other countries also. Just because your friend faced one difficult moment, does not mean everyone in Gulf countries is against other religion.

For Pearl harbour. They did not follow the war protocol of issuing a warning to US. They took them by surprize. many Americans died. Americans returned the favour by dropping 2 bombs instead of just 1 whi was enough. So no saints here.

Pearl Harbour attack-
57 civilians killed
35 civilians wounded

Within the first two to four months of the bombings, the acute effects killed 90,000–166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000–80,000 in Nagasaki,[5] with roughly half of the deaths in each city occurring on the first day
What more, the bombing started an international nuclear race which led to a perpetual shadow of nuclear threat under which we Indians live.

Once can't compare pearl harbor with the nuclear bombings.

if japs had dropped the atomic bomb on USA then what would be your reaction ?

America unleashed the nuclear war and nuclear era with this horrendous killings. It was nothing short of crime against humanity.

Japanese were the cruellest, although they didnt deserve the bomb
by Me on Aug 09, 2010 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

Japanese were the most ruthless, cruel people among all the countries involved in the second world war. Just go through the experiments they conducted on the Chinese people. Read about Nanking. Some have posted here that it is American propaganda. If it was American propaganda, why did the Japanese shell out millions of dollars as compensation through the last 5 decades for thousands of Korean, Thai, Filipino ladies who were used as 'comfort girls' during the war?

And while the Germans are still shamed by the atrocities committed by their rulers from 1933 to 1945, the Japanese still revere their second world war generals every year, their prime minister leading the way. Every news about Japan re-arming themselves still sends shock waves and protests through the Chinese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Filipinos and all those in the Far East.

This does not mean that dropping an atom bomb was right. It is still the most horrific crime every conducted. I just meant to clarify about the Japanese., which many people do not seem to be aware of.

Japanese dont follow Buddhism in its normal form. They follow Shintoism, which glorifies the militaristic culture Japan had till 1945.

You put the facts bravely one contradiction in the statement when you write Japs shell out millions of dollars to compensate Koreans Thai & Filipino.Presently thousands of Koreans & Thais live in Japan alike Japanese and setteled happily. No one should afraid if Japs get armed to defense themselves. The Japanese recognise the generals as war symbols as we follow the rules of british constitution.

japan paid the price for Pearl harbour
by Calspadeaspade on Aug 09, 2010 04:37 PM  | Hide replies

According to protocol, they are supposed to have informed the Americans thry their embassy. But they deliberately delayed it and took Americans by surprize and bombed Pearl Harbour. Lot of Americans were killed. Americans returned the favour by deliberately dropping the second bomb even after the surrender of Japs after the first bomb. It is all fair and square. No saints here. All are thugs.
