Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay
Production of Space.
by Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay on Apr 27, 2011 11:41 PM

Most of the communities in India (such as Bengali), are succumbed in 'Culture of Poverty'(a theory introduced by an American anthropologist Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody is at all ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst Politico-administrative system, weak mother language, continuous absorption of common space (mental as well as physical, both). We are becoming fathers & mothers only by self-procreation, mindlessly & blindfold. Simply depriving their(the children) fundamental rights of a decent, caring society, fearless & dignified living. Do not ever look for any other positive alternative behaviour (values) to perform human way of parenthood, i.e. deliberately co-parenting of those children those are born out of ignorance, real poverty. All of us are being driven only by the very animal instinct. If the Bengali people ever be able to bring that genuine freedom (from vicious cycle of 'poverty') in their own life/attitude, involve themselves in 'Production of Space’(Henri Lefebvre), at least initiate a movement by heart, decent & dedicated Politics will definitely come up.

Only Swadeshi tantra can save India from present mess
by Shiwshankar Chavan on Aug 19, 2010 11:46 AM

Only Swadeshi tantra can save India from present mess & fuss. If we look into other countries like Japan, China, Cuba etc.,how they came up within 60-63 years rapidly than India, there is a main things that they strongly encourage Swadeshi. Japani use thier own country rice even of poor quality but they don't prefer to import similarly Quba people prefer to be wihtout shaving but they will never use videsh blade. Swadeshi definately works, we need to understand and adopt Swadeshi into us. (from the speech of Bharat Swabhiman Rajiv Dixit)

What courage?
by Grizzly on Aug 13, 2010 02:33 PM  | Hide replies

Aam aadmi has been so badly bruised by this everyday tyranny of our rulers that our courage has been shoved deep under our skin.

We all know what happens to the few who challenge the system!

Any aam aadmi who dares to speak against the system will be:
1. Framed by chamchas
2. All hisher past will be dug and altered
3. These chamchas will blame himher to be a member of a "Hindoo terrorist organisation"
4. Chamchas will send corrupt media to "expose" such a truth speaker
5. Corrupt media will take money from chamchas and start writing against such people who challenge the system
6. Overnight, such a person will become terrorist no. 1 and all India's police will be looking for himher
7. All hell will break loose on hisher family
......................

And so on and so forth

After knowing all this, how many aam aadmis have the courage to challenge the system?

I salute the ones who, after knowing all this, still stand up and challenge the system!

People say there will be a day when aam aadmis courage, forcibly hidden deep under our skin, will come out and aam aadmi will rise against the chamchas! People say that day will change the history of our nation!

Well, its soon going to be the 63rd anniversary of this chamcha system established by the first chamchas.

Dont know how many more years will pass by before our hidden courage comes out. Jai aam aadmi, Jai Bharat Mata!

Your concern is genuine. The state organs arebiasedly and selectively used against those who muster courage to raise fingures. The saying that,'those sitting under the glass houses mustn't throw stones on others' becomes glaringly operative. There is no system to attend to the public grievances chronologically by the state organs including CBI, judiciary or the police! The systems reform is needed to make built-in provisions in this regards so that such mis-use of authority is stopped. All corrupts are handled on merit!

World Military Games
by SK Chatterji on Aug 12, 2010 06:57 PM

Our armed forces hosted the World Military games, just a couple of years back. There were more number of contingents than the Commonwealth Games. It was on a shoe string budget.
However, preparations were on schedule, the games were run with clock work precision, and what's more important, there were not too many people available in the Army with the experience to handle such events.
The nation has the expertise. The biggest difference between the two games is the fact that there were no corruption charges trading before or after the World Military Games.

Presently rich and great are considered synonimous in Indian society. Hence people are trying to amass wealth by all means to be called great.Busineemen, beaurocrates,Politicians ,Police and all other segments are busy in making money. Only those who are not in a position to make such money ,they cry for corruption.Nothing unusal please don't take it seriously. This, we have been doing it since India got independence. All the progress in India is due to it.No corruption no work, so if you want to stop work then only you should criticise corruption . India and corruption will go together, please help India by giving hand to corruption, the life line of India.LONG LIVE CORRUPTION.

Great Article
by Ophir Raja on Aug 10, 2010 09:36 PM

Great article you Indian. But what can we do? We are just mere spectators. Three days back a Inspector of Police and a constable were arrested for foisting a false narcotic case on a innocent who did not give him the demanded 3 lakh rupees. The inspector filed a Narcotic case; why not now give the same punishment under Narcotics act be give for the Inspector.
Acts like these of course make the middle class to keep quiet. They are not the people of pre-independence era.

Why is PM silent!!!
by abhishek on Aug 10, 2010 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

Everyone these days has only one quaestion in his mind 'Why is PM Silent' on every issue of importance in the country. I say he is silent as he speaks only in the company of President Obama of USA whose pet theme is 'TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT'. Therefore our PM speaks only when he is in the company of President Obama otherwise he prefers silence.
