Many fail to understand
by wise guru on Aug 03, 2010 09:37 AM  | Hide replies

that the prayer is more important than the object u pray.It is classical that man stresses more on the object because of his short sightedness and misses on the noble aspect beyond.

when muss and xtain are criticising about shivas lingam they forget 10million rush head over heals to visit that block of stone? with no objective or great prophecy attached?

or did zesuz really die before he survive as drzakir naik proves he never died and so the cross(basic identity of a xtain)is a farce???

well no harm meant , the belief of lakhs of hindus perhaps started from illiterate hindus and of blind belief , which todays learnt and educated hindus may scientifically discard with dismay.

but remember a innocent and naive child is more close to god because he doesnot reason and tear apart everything. Also faith is power and when a lakh peoples heart and mind prays it creates a sensational force - which can control destiny.

although amarnaths followers deplete (because of educated individuals) the back door queue gets filled by desperate, despised, unfortunate people who come in search of hope!

Path for Spiritual growth in Hinduism

Once Ramakrishna paramhansa was questioned that if some one has to "finally" out grow idol worship - why not give up idle worship in the first place - to which he responded - just because you want you child to be an engineer why dont you enrole the 5 year ole child to an engineering school - so one has to learn to take baby steps and finally grow beyond idol worship - everything ha sits place on earth

Hmm...i would disagree here...idol worship is more complex and evolved...and to understand it in its true nature of millions of forms, you need a more evolved and open soul...its more like...just because a 5 year old cannot understand more than simple ABCD, you cant enrol into engineering...just teach teh simple one thing at a time first...once it has evolved into a creative genius when it can understand more variety and appreciate detailed nuances...move to hindu way of worshipping multiple nuances...till then stick to simple one thing concept...

Dear rediff pl do not keep such issues for discussion boards. People write anything they feel, but someone may hurt & becomes a cause of quarrel. pl.
