It is no more 'NAXAL' issue but it plain Mafia operation that is taking palce and the Govt and the people are suffering by these mafia goons. It is reported recently in your site that the Maoist op is around Rs 1400.0 Crore per annum and this is clear indication that every body is being misled by the word NAXAL which is in fact a covert op of mafia. Their source of income and exp from exhortion, land grabbing, money lendingis at exhorbitant interests rates, protection money they collect from other goondas of similar colors, abetting ganja production and sales, arms deals..these are all a clear indication. The Govt should take a clear stand against these social evils as they fight terrorists. These mafia goons should be termed as 'Social terrorists and be dealt with accordingly.
One more point to be borne in mind is that whever these 'ST' declare bandh..that is only to cover up their movements or to give coverage to the shipment of illegal goods like ganja and other things.
Time has come for the Govt ot brand them as socially unwanted and root them out.

Two Castes are dominating the Political Scene in AP. They can not tolerate any people from any other Castes to take important Political Role in this State. Now Mr. Jairam Ramesh, Central Minister for Environment has come out openly with Policy of Not Disturbing the Forests for Mining of Coal and Minerals, of course at the instance of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, the Congress Party President, no doubt a long sighted decision. The Immature thinking of Sri P.Chidambaram to suppress the Movement of Adivasis to safeguard their Lands and Livelihood is put to end. KUDOS TO ALL THE PEACE LOVERS. The observation is of Majority of the People. Everybody accept that there will be individual exceptions everywhere. The Majority views are considered as COMMON OPINION.

Rediff, My suggestion to you is if you do not have anything else to do, please print old articles rather than going to such confused people like KK who think they have done something great during their lifetime where as they have not even won a ward/muncipality elections. If still you want to continue with your interviews of such great No-Work great leaders that only Sonia/Rahul recognize then pls also interview VHR, AMOS, i really dont remember some of them but if you are interested I will try to get you some more names. We have many in AP

It is with the connivance & colluding with the politicians, the Naxals & Maoists are able to get so much arms, ammunition, food & also money. It is a we known fact. Unless some drastic action as Jayalalitha did in Veeerappan case,giving full authority to the forces to take action & deal, it is hard to see any outcome but for more escalation only.
When we have a problem spreading across states, It is easy for the trouble creators to escape &take shelter in their camp on the other state. The ruling party CM"s & their securiry agencies shd sit together & draft a plan to wipe out the menace. But our leaders, wanting to take mileage on each & every issue, exploit & thereby giving way to the menace to take deep roots. What NATIONALISM THEY have? First They shd THINK of INDIA first, & then regional interest shd come. Political Maturity is lacking in Very much in Congress, & they way they do & deal issues, it shows the immaturity & short term benefits , they intend to acquire. Maganimity & solving the issue is the need of the hour.
