IPL has been becoming a big issue and all the political figures - both in the Congress and in the Opposition including BJP were running to stop its course!! They found out a new smart way!! BRING ANOTHER ISSUE AND MAKE IT BIGGER THAN IPL ENQUIRIES!!
They found out a new issue Phone Taping - India's Water Gate!! Now, all opposition is talking only about phone taping!! IPL issues became a thing of the past!!! It is gone!! Media including Rediff is not writing much about IPL murky business!! All the culprits including Sharad Pawar, Arun Jetlie, Narendra Modi, Lalit Modi are off the hook!! They saved their skin!! Now, the alternate technique of projecting the Phone taping issue is taking the LS to ransome!! After a couple of days, there will be an enquiry and that issue will die down!!
The IPL issues are gone dead!! This is how our democracy works!! Whom ppl can trust - the ruling parties or the opposition parties!!! Both are parterns in money making!! Pawar can now increase prices of some or goods and promote inflation!! We Indians are bound to pay the price for electing these wise representatives, the ppl's representatives!!!

Also, even if some one belongs to minority, does he need any protection? The constitution provides equal justice to all the citizens. If this is applied, the provision of reservation itself is contradictory as several meritorious people lose opportunities to less deserving people

There are some need for reservation for scheduled tribes and castes for a given period. but if that does not work , we should open up opportunities for growth and sustennance via farming industries. Goverment should not be in the business of doiling out job, but should be empowering people with education and opprtunities.
Now for muslim brothers, and their leaders work hard to provideeducation and opportunities. Same is true for all caste mesaih that they increase education and opportunity evrywhere possible.
A month ago I saw a picture hindu and muslinm workers side by side working on manufacturing benarasi silk sarees. That is wonderful.

There are many ways to work a carrer. This reservation is only a mirage which will take us further and further from reality, and ultimately us sick and cynical about goverment.
You all have seen goverments are very limited, and indian govt is in the bottom.
China is a good example. Every one working towards one national goal. probabaly we can work out better deal. But half of us here either have no idea or just here to create more dissonance.
I want everyone here to post best ideas, and go from there. Of course it is our problem, solution must be ours.

Reservation for muslims is just an attempt of govt to show that they think of muslim after getting their votes and forgetting them for 5 yrs.For reservation social and religious issue has changed a lot and after 60 yrs post independence we have new realities of social, educational, economic unequalities. However it is true that no body will agree to give muslim reservation in govt jobs or educational institution on religious background.The secular media speak of muslim backwardness but love more in prooving that religion is a cause for muslim backwardness.Discrimination and hate is more predominant in our mindset as you will reveal while reading views in discussion board. So let people hate and deny reservation.Its better to build education(loke christians) institution n help educate ppl n make them able to earn a livelihood than asking for reservation.
