Its funny to note that if countries like haiti or any war ravaged countries in africa were to offer any similar deals, new delhi will bent over backwards to accept it

Once fierce critic, now Tauscher in-charge of N-deal
by raman ravikumar on Apr 22, 2010 02:28 AM

Can India grow up for Pete's sake. I don't want it to be a country of LOSERS. Russians "screwed us" when chinkies(chinese) attacked us. We still buy their outdated CRAP for billions. For some reason we are averse to the Americans. Why??? Does anybody have an answer??

Why Taucher supports N-Deal
by Mahavir on Apr 22, 2010 02:15 AM

She has realized that US can earn billions of dollars from India by making India sign one sided deals - like Nuclear liability agreement etc as long as India has a corrupt Govt headed by weak PM MMSingh.
As long as India is ruled by Sonia Maino by her proxy MMSingh, India is going to loose a big way. India is up for sale at the hand of MMSingh

Technology sanctions
by dhananjay kritu on Apr 21, 2010 12:31 PM

Actually, when the powerful nations impose sanctions on technology, the weaker nations retaliate by imposing hidden sanctions on entry to their markets. This is a typical tit for tat going on for ages.Wetsern nations & USA HAVE to understand it, or else their ability to market to thirld world countries will cease to exists leading to disastrous consequences for themselves

Does it mean that the Indo-US nuclear deal will be on a slow burner now that a die-hard critic is driving it?

by Grizzly on Apr 21, 2010 11:24 AM  | Hide replies

US knows it very well that they will not be able to control porki terror by themselves. They need Indian help and contacts in the region to keep a tab on things here. As everyone knows, this is one of the most dangerous regions of the world where mooselem extremism mingles with nke tech underworld.

So to stop a nke weapon from reaching US shores, they need our help. Thats why this change in posture by US.
