Stop rebuking IPL
by Suresh Malepati on Apr 15, 2010 02:27 AM  | Hide replies

Guyz ...Stop abusing IPL becuase it is far better than English Football League..It is an open secret that in Football leaguues where billions of money is at stake every match that is played is fixed and franchises share the bounty equally. It is good that IPL is competing with English leagues. In these leagues it is money that rules not integrity or spirit of the game...Wake up guyz

IPL is a commercial entertainment to serve the interests of the businessmen and consumer companies involved in it. So, it is not surprising that IPL matches have been fixed.

See how the fisaddi Mumbai has suddenly become No. 1. Mumabai has been given favor to play 10 out of 14 matches in Mumbai only so that Me Ambani can do whatever he can do.

If the powerful investors can be threatened like this do spare a thought for the players who also can be threatened to under perform in crucial matches and throw away matches to suit personal agenda of corrupt ministers/team owners nexus.

Stop watching fixed and manipulated IPL operations on field and off field looks to be the only way.

a tale of self-indulgence
by Mohinibartake on Apr 14, 2010 12:28 PM

The above article reeks of two people clashing for abvious vested interests and greed.

Its indeed pathetic that the country favourite sports is facing the brunt of this gluttony exhibited by bureaucrats and business man.

A sordid saga of sleaze and greed, there is no integrity left anymore in politics and sports

What a pathetic drama is beeing enacted. The lady at Ten janpath has become the final arbitraier for the all feuds on all matters under the Sun. These people should be told, lady comes from a country which is known for Foot ball and not cricket. They can have this luxry, when the Congress so called prince brings an English lady, the way shoib fished out Sania for pakistan. Now all of pakistan would now approach Mrs. Mallik on India matters.

Ganda Hai par Dhanda hai yeh!!!!!!!!
by vikas sethi on Apr 14, 2010 11:17 AM

The Videocon group had won the Pune bids previously and it too was cancelled by Modi without assigning any concrete reason. Then this new auction was scheduled.

The last words on this episode have not yet been written.

Latest news is that Modi wanted Tharoor to deny South African Model Model Gabriella Demetriades Visa for India after her Visa expired. She was part of IPL 2. When Tharoor did not oblige the two fell apart. So not only money but even models are involved in Modi’s cupboard.

Ganda hai par dhandha hai yeh!!
