no one can justify killings of innocent people,This is a crime and US army must be procecuted in internation court and see the clip of united nations assembly just before the war started, how colin powel argueing arrogently saying iraq has weapons of mass distruction.now where are these weapons?how can u justify such killings .god will punish USA
entire Islamisatanic world is burning and enraged by war of some sorts. This is sad, but results of centuries of self-delusion and treating others as you would have them treat you. No surprise really.
The Reuters journos were indistinguishable from the air and it is very sad to see these guys covering the conflict getting shot at and killed. The US troopers had no means to know whether the moving persons on the ground were journos, methods to clearly indentify friend or foe has to be evolved. Anyway the rules of engagement is clearly on the US trooper side, they just had no means to foretell whether the guys on the ground were journos. The US Apache helicoper gunners were very careful in getting permission to shoot down the targets, they were repeatedly heard as asking for permission. Anyway it is sad indeed for the free press!

By the way, US troops are experts of butchering innocent men women and children. The best terminology for them is 'Killers of Humanity.' Their butchery of innocents started from Hiroshima and Nagasaki where they killed more than a million innocents.
No army can justify killing of innocents even if its war. Hope the US army learns from this incident and does better in future.
Possibly they are under great pressure and tension which can be understood in such a war especially when recognising who is friend or enemy is difficult.
Whatever crime USA or Israel or any other European country commits, they project it in a glamorous manner. They package it very well so that the world believes that they are innocent and have done it in their self-defense.

Hey Mac, I wonder if your family is killed in cold blood, you would be so casual, or cavalier in calling it "collateral damage". Wouldn't it be fun...wink, wink... ;)

There are clearly armed insurgents in the video -- look at the group of three at the top of the screen at the beginning. While the US Army clearly overstepped itself here and made a terrible, horrible mistake, let's not act as if they're the only villains here. Sectarian violence -- especially sunni vs shia -- has destroyed the fabric of Iraqi society: religious processions being attacked, suicide bombings in market places, etc.
