All gangup based. I have people working and know the gangup very well.

There are already established gangs in the forces quite like the R & D gangs in ISRO, BARC, etc.

Nobody can get past those gangs. THIS IS WHY INDIA IS BEHIND china.

gangs is three of the armed forces i.e navy, army, air-force.

Same with R & D. The present government supports the gang top appointments in FORCES!!!!!!!!!!!

even puppet PM is an undemocractic appointment.

RAW & IB has been treated as Step Child
by nilesh singh on Sep 10, 2009 06:50 PM

Indin govt has always treated these organizations as tep child in the past and its not a one day activity where you change the entire mind set but its high time where govt should look into the organizational performence efficency improvement steps...Just transfering money in account is not enough, they need better exposure, school & laws to take on long term assignments for countries over all improvement in int'lgence gathering & analysis.. today most of the cader at top comes from IPS where they enjoy all the luxary and the real cader suffers because they don't have influence of big bosses...
Its high time they need to make single cader which not only motivate youngsters in the organization in terms of same cader getting promoted to top level also its gives a edge to build up org culture of trust.

let the board be on the lines of Armed Forces.

What is so special

This another effort to put the organisational cadre subordinate to all india service which does not help the morale of the officers .People fro all india services lobby for them selves for plum postings .Top position in raw be a selection post and every body with requisite experiance compete .Is there any rule that only Officers from IPS should be selected as RAW chief

when will Dalit be the head of forces and RAW...

there will stories of incompetence, corruption, too much of black or brown colour against dalits.

Look at the forces(army, air-force, naby), the gyp-~sies keep Dalit on the lower ranks by MAKING A GANGUP of gyp-~sy officers, send Dalits to fatal missions without backup and take credit when Dalit die.

Thus, all the top positions go to gyp-~sies and their supporter base in different states due to their HATE gangup.

How does it matter
by tls mani on Sep 10, 2009 04:51 PM  | Hide replies

For a useless organisation like RAW it doesn't
matter who is the head. So many attacks have taken lplace other than giving announcement like railway train timing they can never predict leave alone solve any security issues.
They are no match for the dreaded ISIand this is the reason why so many innocents are killed.
They could not even predict and suggest counter measure for the Kabul embassy attack

Boss you are absolutely right. But you must also see how much govt supports RWA financially & Infrastructure wise. They have no funds like ISI.

Imagine this RAW - an organisation that does not come under the purview of any public authority like CAG and you can not ask a question about it using RTI Act(Right to info act), why even in a democracy we have such organisations. Political parties at the top could very easily siphon off public money without a single question being asked now or in furture using such departments. You pass on 5000 crores in RAW budget and then you take that money out of the bank aaccount and use that for party funds in elections and a finger won't be raised. Even the people working with RAW dont come under purview of any public authority, these are cream positions for which IPS officiers pay huge bribes to get a position in there.
