Well India was on its kneels begging before world bank in 1991 and had to send all of its gold reserves to worldbank. That was after 4 decade rule of Nehru family. Only because of PV-MMS combo's leadership-vision India could progress and is what it is today. Nehru family gave bleeding wounds to India in the form of north-east, punjab, kashmir terrorism.

what would the point of saying she had great education? it is like saying she read einstein's book on relativiity. but how much did she understand? sonia too had great education, but she flunked big time. couldn't make it to college. rahul never had a job that he can proudly put on his resume. stop building castles in air for gandhis.

what castles for MrsIndira Gandhi,u got it wrong ,the facts are, she was born n broughtup in thro n thro political atm in n out of her home,fully involved in pre n post independent events of country,when in gov. it was her political backgrnd that only worked 4 her to lead the country 2 victory in 1971 war in face of hostile America(Nixon) n china,what doubt abt quality of her leadership, she was a leader, leading n governing the country personally hvng full sense of responsibility n not by proxies as being done now,no question of Indiraji's legacy being carried forward now by...., no comparison, that's the pt.
Old man is desperate to be noticed by Sonia madam.It shows how even people who have earned a lot of respect & fame in life miss the power when they are out of favour.

After 60 years of independence, most of India still remains illeterate, corruption is now a part of our culture, hygiene and civic sense is completely destroyed and breeding poverty is the agenda of all our political parties. The legacy of congress, and indira gandhi is still on..carried forward by the likes of Sonia and other regional parties. We fought for indepence from the British, only to be ensnared by these power hungry political parties who dont know even today what ails India..or probably they have realized that they are the problem. Hail Indira Gandhi !!

Corruption was always an integral part of Culture starting with Ramayan and Gita. The most corrupt people our freedom fighters, gandhi, nehru, patel.....They had the best before independence and after independence. Just think about it

Natwar Singh the man in Indira Gandhi's Office ,well thought that he deserves a place In Sonia's Office also inspite of him being accused of siphoning millions from UN food programme of Iraq. Indira Gandhi made a mistake and di not recgnise this snake, and Sonia did it and squashed him. And today he writes Indira Chalisa /Sonia Chalisa to get back in Parliament but alas! Sonia is not Indira she is an Italian who does not understand the words like pity,begging beggar Natwar to be forgiven.
Good narrative and comparison of Sonia with Indira.But does Sonia or any congressmen for that matter realize that many of all those who flocked to Indira's last meeting in Orissa have started flocking to MAOISTS ?

It's Trendy to yell empty slogans like 'secular'- in the same vein as garibi hatao et al. If by 'secular' you mean the way she (and her Proxy-PM) has put in place policies giving first dibs on all the country's resources to her minority votebank, then sure, she's more 'secular". And not-as-secular Indira didn't make the destruction of Hindus and Hinduism her all-abiding passion and primary agenda as Madame SMG has- after all, everyone in this stinking land knows that 'secular' means "anti-Hindu", only.
Let us observe the anniversary of the assassination of Mrs Indira Gandhi.
At the same time, let us also observe the anniversary of the planned and intentional m@ss@cre of the S1ikh population in Delhi.

The irony is nobody has been charged for the riots in Delhi, Kanpur and other cities. That is India. Who the hell was this Sardar Patel? Must be a gandhi's relative or something.
