by PURUSHOTTAM MURTHY on Oct 27, 2009 11:22 AM

The politics has become the business, and is forwarded to generation.Allover India u will see the same situation.Even Congress again in centre, maximum states very list development is done. The moneypower, generation cards used to win election. The voters(poor) only voted.
People on medium level requires massive developement, eliminate unempolyement...infrastructures...etc.
There should not be any type of elections in all five years..then only this will happen.

Ideology has no relevance
by Arun on Oct 26, 2009 11:27 AM

The recent elections in Maharashtra has clearly proved that ideology has no relevance for winning elections.Against the manipulative machanism of the Congress - NCP combine, BJP-Sena combine could not stand as the younger generation is not inclined to accept slogans like Marathi pride beyond a point. Even the limited appeal on such issues amoung the youth was encashed by Raj Thackeray with his empty rhetorics. Hence, BJP-Sena combine are the ultimate losers. Manipulative politics can be fought only by the same method. Unless BJP-Sena combine learn to fight elections with some vehemence without depending on Election Commisasion's fairness, they will be decimated from Maharashtra political scene sooner or later

Elections
by Chandrashekhar Kulkarni on Oct 24, 2009 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

Indian democracy is a joke and elections are farce...

because...

1. Whatever you do, vote or don't vote Congres comes to power.
2. How-so-ever poor governance Congress may provide, yet it will come to power,
3. There is unemployment, lack of development, shortage of necessary items, yet Congress won.
4. 70% people do not like Congress, and just because opposition is fragmented, Congress wins.
If 2 party system is implemented, then Congress will taste the dust.
5. Many people, mostly illiterate are programmed from childhood to stamp on Panja.
6. Many people vote against cash.
7. EVMs are not tamper proof. Push 'clear' button and all votes are nullified. Then the parties keep pressing their buttons.

We were slaves for last 500 years and we will remain so for eternity. Democracy is a myth.

It is a democracy & so MAFIA MARATHI parties of Thakreys do not win.
It is a democracy & so people do not like crooks like Advani & their party, whose aim is to divide people on religious lines.
But it is not a matured democracy, so we still get to see congress.

Split in Shivsena-MNS how effective
by swami pudipeddi on Oct 24, 2009 11:57 AM

Thing as they rolled out proved beyond doubt that MNS is a force to recoken with just like Mr.Vijaykanth's MDMK in Tamilnad and Mr.Chiranjeevi's PRP in Andhra Pradesh. If they can be king makers they are benefited. If not they can prevent other opposition groups from emrging victorious. When two cousinns cannot work together and cross swords against each other and keep the voters in confusion, what good they can do to the public what public service they can render for their welfare? CBGuptaji of Uttar Pradesh proved long back that Congress was winning not because people wanted it but beacause the opposition is divided. And he could form the SVD followed by Choudri Charan Singh. Unless there is another toweringpersonility like JP there will not be any one to question/challenge any attrocities. People who are in power have power in the head and pile up the curses of affected people. Has any body bothered about the price rise which is pinching the middle class or rosecard holders? The havenots got several sops from the Governments what about the people with middle income? In TN also to keep the wishes of the DK new party DMK formed by Annadurai because of his differences with Periyar Ramaswami naicker, suddend death while he was delivering good grwoth of MK and attempt to murder MGR and new party formation ADMK later transformed as AIADMK with the main motto to keep Congress away fromt he seat of power. If Mk and JJ come together they can prevent Congress froming own Govt in TN.

Marathi manoos are mature and educated.
by manoj kumar on Oct 24, 2009 10:41 AM  | Hide replies

Any Sena cant fool people in the name of marathi manoos. All maharashrtiran are educated and mature. They know the world's reality has changed. No one will respect if they demand respect in name of Marathi. Shive Sena and Raj thakaray are fraud. They are fooling and misleading maharashtrian. So many private company are leaving Maharashtra. Because no private company would run if it has to give jobs to local based on marathi.

I am a Corporate strategist and I can tell you that no company leaves or enters a market just because of local politics.
Companies shifting places is dictated by hard business decisions.

You may be talking of manufacturing units moving to Baddi in HP and Pant Nagar in UK and etc. Its again business decision.

Govts want development in all areas and it gives benefits to comapnies setting up in particular area.
