Interdiction detection
by Bodh Ramdeo on Oct 19, 2009 08:51 PM

A few years back, a plane with an Angrezi pilot and Russkie crew, flew undetected and delivered (dropped) arms to some group in Purulia, WB.
Only after the arms drop, were they detected, intercepted and the crews detained.
The pilot was allowed to go home a few months later, as were the rest of the crew.
So much for diligence and competence- or was it a conspiracy?.

It was not a civilian plane but a military. I htink it is the right thing to force it to land. Can't go around shooting everyone. Of course shooting is what the Americans would have done

Indian ATC should behave more sensibly and not interfere with american aircraft as they are known to carry sensitive cargo meant for international missions.

Why carry "sensitive" cargo on a civilian aircraft? Thats complete disguise and against international conventions.

Do you remember them detaining a single arms consignment meant for maoists and naxalites? How do you think these groups manage to arm themselves with such sophisticated firearms. Surely they do not fall from the skies!

Do you remember police arresting pick pockets? Do you remember police shooting down gangsters in Nagpur? Detaining arms meant for Naxals would never make big news yaar

so you ( who has brain as big as a peanut ) claim that Indian Air Force does NOT detain an air craft if IAF comes to know that it is an arms consignment for the naxals. Is it not ?

you illiterate, you think democracies work this way !! by using threatening phone calls !! First learn to write well. Then see if you can learn something about democracies and the way they function in situations such as the one happened today with IAF
