Where is the caste issue here?

Corruption does not help any caste.

In fact we should be thankful to Karnataka bar association for their effort to cleanse the system. Well done.

If other bar associations can also keep a keen eye on the judges who are being promoted to supreme court we can stop this rot for the time being.

FIGHT AGAINST EVIL INDIANS OTHERWISE WE ARE DOOMMED.

No Caste Crop in Supreme Court or High Court?.
by Praveen Goud on Oct 14, 2009 09:51 PM

Sorabjee, you are pretending. Dont the supreme court or High Court judge recommend their own choice of judges?. Why do we see only one or two caste judges in High Court or Supreme Court more?. If no cast bias in Supreme or High Court, you are bitterly lieling.

Judiciary Mess From Gross Root Has To Be Cleaned
by Raj Goud on Oct 14, 2009 09:39 PM

Corruption in Indian Judiciary has to be addressed right from Disrtict,Session courts. Look at how bad the corruption in Section Departments of District and Session courts. Do we have any bureau to break the corruption network created among police, advocates and judges in India. We see pooh poohing on judges only when he is aiming for Supreme Court. Why dont we punish these judges while they are in low level courts including High Court itself.

Do we have any single instance where the Judge has been punished by both the houses of parliament though those instances have come once or twice in parliament?. Inspite of Reforms in Judiciary for declaring the assets of Judges, did atleast one judge declare his assets so far?. Indian Judiciary has to be clean before it can judge whether normal citizen did any offence or not. Shame on Indian Judiciary....

Justice or no?
by Bodh Ramdeo on Oct 14, 2009 08:41 PM

Any jurist possessing a modicum of ethical consideration would recuse him/herself from cases which has any semblance of conflict of interests, yet K'tka HC CJ Dinakaran seems to be totally ignorant of such ethical niceties.
"If public confidence is diluted...credibility is affected," says Justice Sorabjee, but it's more like shattered- no one(other than the justices and the corrupt lawyers) has the slightest confidence in the judicial system. Justice must not only be served but it must also seem to be served.
