yeah, and all our psec govt does is give millions of $ to Pak
by Moshadi Maino on Aug 14, 2010 12:11 PM

we are having devastation all around us -- natural as well as Pak-made --- not to mention pollution, inflation, corruption and naxalite terror, but our psec govt rushes to give $5M to our worst enemy Pak.

Why not give the money instead to Andhra or Leh victims, or Bhopal?

Rosaiah's visit to flood-hit areas goes awry
by sushil sarandkar on Oct 14, 2009 11:47 AM

This is not the time for politics. Center & state govt. must pay attention for rehabilitation for karnataka flood affected peoples. Other state of INDIA must come forward to help this state because tomorrow any body can be in the palce of karnataka. Andhra people must be missing their previous CM. We pray for these people, God gives them the strength to cope with this calamity.

Kannadigas punished by Congress
by Bskr T on Oct 13, 2009 10:55 PM  | Hide replies

Approx Rs 20,000 crores need but Center releasing peanuts! Is it not shame? Center is joking on plight of poor Kannadigas! CM Do you accept this. Where is Governor Bharadwaj hiding? He rushes to meet Tom-Dick & Harry of minority just to blowup the non-issue to blackmail the government but when 3 lakh houses collapsed he has muted response! President washing of her hands by just offering condolence? Where is Justice Nayak of State Human Rights Commission? Is the center not abusing human rights by throwing peanuts while thousands of crores needed to manage million flood victims? Are 5-Central Congress ministers not ashamed to play political drama on the rubbles of collapsed houses? Is it not absurd Krishna asking to submit report for grants while CNN reporting this catastrophe to the world as main news?

flood relief
by ILAPAKURTI SATYANARAYANA on Oct 13, 2009 09:40 PM

a very difficult phase of relief to people effected by floods in kurnool, krishna districts started - difficulties in distribution of relief materials will smoothen with every passing day - really a very very difficult days of untold misery & struggle for life to go on - a stong public distribution system to take up the supply of essential commodities through fair price shops - banks to sanction loans to people to start business anew - govt to construct the houses at upland areas to liberalise all norms pertaining to bring new areas under housing schemes - o god give the required strength to face all odds and strength to start a life fresh with all agencies extending their might at this hour of extreme crises - very difficult to forget - will linger for a long long time - first lathur earthquake - then tsunami - now floods - unforgettable events - so a statutary relief fund must be created at every budget both at state budgets as well as central budget to keep aside a sum added to fund - to be utilised in relief operations at any moment of eventurility - both at state level as well as central level - expressing my views - opinions differ -
