Why he doesn't own a car?
by Guest on Oct 11, 2009 07:38 AM  | Hide replies

I work in Cambridge though, I completed my grads back home in India. Now, in India, I ONLY commuted using my "uber cool" motor cycle or my car. The day I started living here in Cambs, I realised how cars or mopeds were rather uncool and cycling around town was the easiest way around as Cambridge has a LOT of one-way's and restricted roads. I eventually (about 3 weeks later) gave up my thought of buying a car and instead opted for a second hand cycle (which is still going strong) for my 4 mile commute. In all honesty, our company's CEO, a multi millionaire, cycles to work and so do 80% of our work force. (Rest 20% either live in towns outside Cambridge or London)

By saying Venky doesn't own a car and cycles to work, you're only rendering the usual way of life here in Cambridge. Nothing unusual.

I think he does not know how to drive or the DMV did not give him a license.

Cycle to parliament ...

Ministers and Babus should crank up their austerity drive and imbibe Simple Venky's values to ride to parliament and 5-star hotels on Atlas cycles along pot-holed roads.
This should help bring them in tune with the cattle-class they so fervently proclaim to represent.

Any ways who is not corrupt, ask your conscience - How many times did you resist some form of corruption, in previous one year; so the poor Politician is just your LEADER in this as he would be in your HONESTY, if you turn honest.
I am with the Politician at least he does what gets him his job, Babu kills the same man who pays his salary.
