If you technically looks, its seems to be rear unsafe conditions created by the passangers who were on board they happen to come one sided to a floating objects namely boat or trawler light weight water carrier due to over load one side its capsized by overturning, But the root cause was sharp turn to its port or starboard side instead of corpen steering, may be this men victor or aneesh who are terror module and kills all tourists from other parts of India went to Kerala, mind it now and take precautions, ensure who is driving vehicles or boat what its in his mind. Need to learn a lots of reasons, now its very unsafe in India any where you may get killed by some ones mistakes or mischiefs as in this case even you are too much skilled in your professions but due to majority passengers co-ordinated mistakes the boat got capsized very quick succession time and there was no second thought no body was there onboard a tourist boat to warn peoples or is there was any safety warning signages to warn the people or there was any safety talks or written safety points about do or do'nt, how to escape from a sinking boat etc Never it is in position so people will loss their lives in future also indeed its happen in India only.

This situation not created by passengers. It is created by Tourism board of Kerala Govt. Due to enormous wish to earn money they have boarded more passengers than its actual capacity. This Accident caused by mismanagement and poor administration of Kerala Govt. This incident another example of Keralaites Inefficient handling of People. They have caused for this much innocent peoples death. Let them change their logo as Devil's Own Country.

You can say that the 225 Lakhs would be enough for giving better training and developing infrastucture to the tourism Tekkady Tourism. These people open their eyes after a mishap and close it immediately after 1 month.

In every unsafe boats, life jackets should be made compulsory. At least the person will float into the water and not drown down.

Problem is with the society..we don't question bad things ..instead we seem to be silent till the issue touches us. These things will continue to happen..we just can't do anything.

The very basic thing required is life jacket provision. The toursim dept is highly irresponsible and they have not cared for even minimum safety of people.
