Why does India struggle to establish it's relevance as a good nation ???

They have the requisites for a good nation building commitment........BUT..............
the lacunae in implementing policies and programmes by the so called POLITICIANS/BABOOS, is a total impossibility.

These are the very people who want to enjoy the fruits of world's success without realising that they have to be a part of the process of contributing their own might.....These people are so selfish that they want their house to be built up with the other man's bricks.....Resultant corrupt minds and attitudes deprive them of the cherished dreams....They lose the credibility to see their dreams come true.

Politicians or public, both rich and poor want to enjoy the fruits of someone's success and expect that fruits of success should be enjoyed even before the tree grows. They eat away the tres even before they can grow and give the results.

It is a cannibalistic tendency where SELFISH {MPATIENCE rules the roost and in the process they devour even the flower buds before they turn into fruition.

Their Fate misguides them !!!

It seems to come up from some genetic quality and mental standards of not to work hard but enjoy the right to enjoy !!!

Lazy men sitting under trees opening their mouths sky wards and waiting for the fruits to fall into their mouths. Height of dreams !!!

Hats off Mr. Raman,

Thats the real pulse !.....you caught it rightly!.......

"In geopolitical matters, there is no futuristic thinking in India. The quality of Indian thinking and analysis -- strategic and tactical -- is poor. What passes for analysis in India is just wishful-thinking "

The whole world knows this and it can not pass it off as a great national character.

India has to work on this thumb rule.

Indians have to shed off the hallucination of PAST GLORIES and get into the REALY SITUATIN N A MODERN WORLD......MINUS CORRUPTION AND CORRUPT MINDS.
ZEROING DOWN TO SELF AWARNESS IN WHAT IT DOES.... Directly or Indirectly, SELFISHLY CONCENTRATING ON ITS OWN WEAKNESSES AND CONVERT THEM INTO STRENGTHS !

China was greatly influenced by Indians via Lord Buddhas teachings.China prospered remarkably well. The Soviets influenced China thru their communism and today China is greatly a negative power, out to get Indians.Without China,Pakistans nuclear bombs are only a dream. Its truly unnerving that India still has not developed ICBM's despite having one of the best scientific teams in the world.Unless this capability is developed, neigbors like China,Pakistan will always try to intimidate India. Its about time Indias missiles hit major cities of China, capabilities built pronto,as a deterrent.

China ICBM is not for India. It's for US. India do not need ICBM to intimidate China. India needs a missile that is more than 5,000km to hit NE China.

There is no need for hostility towards China. India capabilities cannot match China. Ths will serious drained India resources. What India needs is the self defence needed for herself.

I am happy to live in a country which does not invade and murder sovereign nations. I do not want India to be like China or the US.

We awfully lack good work culture
by mallaiah anchoori on Nov 23, 2009 10:40 PM  | Hide replies

The reason is very simple & striking.A country can prosper & reach new heights only when it emulates good work culture which we awfully lack.Unfortunately all said & done aloud, Indians have a tendency to shirk from the work which almost every Indian expects to be done by others.Though ours is the biggest democracy,it is an indisciplined democracy wherein only rights are remembered & duties conveniently forgotten.25 years back,China was an ignoble country plagued by its huge population problem & was struggling from hand to mouth while we still were better in terms standard of living & per capita income. How could China rise up to the level of lending even to USA & monopolising in even things needed for day to day life-especially in the field of electronics & computers? Now USA is flooded with all Chinese made products. It is sheerly due to the hard work of its people who were bent upon in ushering into a new era & emerging as the super power in the Asian Continent.Intelligence wise,we are no less than Chinese;in fact our people are the most intelligent in the world itself, but we miserably fail to march ahead as disciplined work force & just believe in building castles in airs with all useless calculations & projections. Some times,it looks as though we do not deserve this democracy ,but some other form to goad us.Though we make a self-deception of ourselves by saying that USA & we have several commonalities, the super power appears showering only superfluous praises on us.

AP!Please mend your language when you express from public forum like this.It is a parody that we suffer from an inferiority complex & undermine our capabilities while the entire outside world is appreciative of the Indian talent.Indian intelligence & proficiency is much sought after every where globally. There is no country in the world which does not avail the services of the Indian intelligentsia.Kindly do not feel that"ghar ki murgi, dal barabar"
