begging US for drone help to deal with Pak
by Sameer Bhagwat on Dec 06, 2014 11:36 PM

ppl who say India must request US for help to tackle Pak must be kids who are yet to know the real world.

Their idea reminds me of a film where the hero, in all his innocence, keeps talking and divulging all his plans/fears/hopes to the very man he should NOT be telling anything. That man "encourages" the hero to keep talking, and offers empty platitudes (and zero concrete help). Needless to say, in the end, it turns out that he is the REAL RINGLEADER.

We don't need Drone, but Drona!!!

and as long as you keep boot=l1cking goras, you will never graduate from Drone - > Drona.

Big deal because of elite class?

What happened to victims of terror in March 1993 in Mumbai? Any remembrance?
In Coimbatore-Tamilnadu blasts? Ahmadabad, Surat, Guwahati, etc..
Simply because Trident and Taj is attacked-media houses respond disproportionately!!
Any such terror attacks now becomes the money making events/occasions for media..
Why don't media (visual and print) focus on farmers suicide, caste conflicts, religious terrorism, moral policing, corruption etc...
Simply because Mumbai now is accessible easily for the camera and crew-the claim as if doing service to nation by kindling the silent affected hearts..

if not for our crazy media trying to beat each other with over the top reporting on 26/11.. and becoming agents for terrorists
more lives would have been saved..

india is not USA where value of human life is more and very few incidents occur..
our irony is that we've forgotten so easily all the other blasts prior to 26/11 and treat it as if nothing else ever happened ..
dont highlight 26/11 and its stories so much that victims in other blasts feel neglected..

Our PM is partying with President in US, while a billion plus Indians are mourning the unfortunate event that occured a year back...this is what our Politicos are upto...

As a leader of India he should have been in Mumbai with those brave policemen and army guys who saved countless lives and with the family members who lost their loved ones...

I protest.....

Its not about people. It's about responsibility

The heading of this article aside, as its very plan rediff stupidity.

The real thing that needs to be discussed is official apathy. How many heads rolled or held accountable for the lapses during the event?. Shockingly, NONE, save for a few political re adjustments.

Unless we have accountability in bureaucracy mean something, we can keep going in round circles blaming everything else.

Its rubbish to talk about government. Maha people have selected same people who could not hang Afjal Guru in last 6 years, who could not take decision to call NSG.... who could not come out of their AC Rooms and vote...

Now shouting here is absurd...

Stop all this, live with your decision Mr. Aam Aadmi

Its definitely sad that 11/26 has happened. But personally I think media should not recap all these incidents again and again. Government did not do anything for the people who died or to their families. It starts to make people curse/hate OUR OWN country.

attention prime minister MMS india need to change
by puneet GERA on Nov 23, 2009 04:16 PM  | Hide replies

I would like to draw the attention of prime minister or his staff to change one thing in india and that is value of human life. This is very odd in India that if a victim has been shot, due to being police case,no treatment is started and many a times, sadly like in Bharat Waghela case, the victim dies because of not receiving treatment(loss of blood as usual in this case).Had it been america, the first priority is always to save the human life which is very precious. If India can't compete with western developed countries like Usa,atleast it can implement some of rules like Usa(treatment first, police case registeration later) then lots of innocent lives can be saved. It won't cost anything to India to make this rule of saving life first, rather than registering police case, but it can for sure save many lives. In usa its very good policy that even if its the culprit, they save life first, because even in case of culprit, they can be sentened to prison and brought to justice only after their life is saved too.I am raising voice to save many innocent lives like in above news or in accidental case, where doctors dont even start treatment due to being police case, and many a times the victim dies because of profuse bleeding.when this rule like Usa of saving life first, will not cost anything to India, but save innocent lives, then why not implement it.Govt should take serious steps to implement this rule of saving precious life first, police case can be registered afterwards within next hours

Stupid media should be blamed for this.. If any cine personalities face problems, the stupid media keeps on highlighting the issues until they get solved. Even they go and telecast the accused wife even in rape cases. But in case of ordinary public problems the stupid media will not come for the ordinary public. Take Times now, NDTV.. they are stupid media and should be banned
