No not the politicians do not blame them it is common man who does not have currage, he is gready, he want everything free, he do not want to take pain, He is first who gives Ghoose in govt office, so do not blame politician.
Its Indian third class public who deserve for this. Politicians are smart, minded they use their mind and wins the game, money, relation everything.

The Indian environment is such that it does not allow any one to come up & shine. Unless we create an environ ment which is encouraging rather than stifling, we will continue to suffer. The best thing is to take control out of the hands of the illiterate wily politicians & raise the bar for those entering politics, say, make graduation a minimum pre-requisite. Better still, start a university that issues degrees in political science and make it mand- atory for all politicians to qualify first from here. Otherwise, we will continue to sprout more Kodas in our midst. The ned of the hour is mature educated responsible politicians who take their role seriously.

Ind-American!
by Ramdas Nayak on Nov 11, 2009 10:22 AM  | Hide replies

I am sick of hearing this phrase 'Indo-American' quite often now a days. Obama is keen on using Indian brain for several key posts as he knows that Americans are not much useful for such brainy jobs. But these so called Ino-Americans who live in US hardly like India as they have sold themselves to US for money & wealth. Why should we consider them as Indians when they do not contribute anything to India or even do not love India!

It is hightime those should call themselves Americans and best thing for them is to change their maiden and surname to an American name to avoid confusion or Indian media worshiping them.

For which Country should they contribute for...India? The country ruled by hypocrates and where politos fool people on the name of Marathi, Bahiri, Hindi, Tamil ? Better not to contribute such a sick nation and help the rest of the world prosper.

I have heard this statement again and again. The only reason people use this because o some lack in assessment. For growth everything is connected - world is flat! India lagged so behind the rest and it had so much to catch up after somewhat starting to opening up the doors - that it seemed decoupled. It will be decoupled for few more years until it completes catering the internal needs. Then to move from there India will need the world. India depends heavily on its soft industry - it wont be there in future under similar eco crisis. Another example: Do you think telecom will survive unless they expand outside? 'Decoupled' only are the banks, my friend.

- World's third most currupt nation.
- World's foolest nation where politicians fool people to gain their vote bank in the name of region/language/caste.

Every nation has its problems and there will be no place left if I have to list the problems of America. it is upto the people of the country to set it right and not sit back and bitch and moan.

Every nation has its problems and there will be no place left if I have to list the problems of America. it is upto the people of the respective country to set it right and not sit back and complain. If there is poverty, illiteracy and corruption, there are a thousand other good things. Why do you choose to see only the negatives? If these are the problems plaguing India, ask yourself, what have you done, to minimize them, even by a fraction. Only this way, we can move forward and not by complaining.

Because they can't get "SIFARISH" of any Minister otr politician to get this type of post as Such brains are wasted here.We can't valuate good brains but Americans do.
So don't say they hv sold themselves but they desreve money for thier work whch Indian politicians can't afford as their will be less money left for thier pockets to fill in.

you are right.
these indians are not going bring glory to our nation. next of all they have owe allegiance to the US flag. So in highlighting these issue it does not give any special status for we Naturalized Indians.
