Futility of terror attacks
by Manish Sarswat on Nov 14, 2009 01:04 PM

India has been seeing terror attacks for last two decades and it has been killing common man. However, it did not have any effect on Indian government and those politicians and Babus are secure behind bodygaurds.

Now terrorists are so fustrated that they attacked parliament also which also did not have much effect as no Neta died.

They are desparate now and they are trying to attack army locations.

To be honest, all these things are futile. There are 50 deaths on train tracks everyday, thousands die due to unavaulability of medical care, clean drinking water.

Once in a while, killing 30-40 people is not going to have much effect.

These terrorists are wasting their time.

Too many complexities here
by Mr Walker on Nov 07, 2009 01:07 PM

On one hand we have those in the US who want peace then there are those who believe in traditional divide the Asia policy to remain superior.
Then of course there is this huge arms industry which thrives on war and tension.
Of course we have religious elements in Pakistan and Afghanistan who use religion to gain dominance.

Then we have corruption in this area including India which makes matters worse to strictly implement security.

Finally India due to its vote bank policies is nurturing the hardliners in its own country thus sidelining the better Muslims and making the divide wider and grave.

Worst if the hardliners in India manage to push the huge Muslim population towards the Jehadi groups we will be in for a big trouble and the entire region would become a hotbed of terrorism.

Unfortunately the ruling party is so carried away by vote banks politics and the need to counter its opposition that it has un-knowingly aggravated the situation.

The Erurope has no idea what the solution could be they think they are safe in their continent.

Seems like the common man all over world is under serious threat of peaceful survival.

And this Frankenstein of Pakistan is the handy work of all those who supported religion based partition of the Indian sub continent. No marks for guessing that the British are the main culprit, executing the divide and rule policy wonderfully well, even while they were leaving the sub-continent. Even while it has been 40-50 years since then. The rules of the game from British and Americans remain the same- divide and rule. American war machinery industry thrives on conflicts. And the Indian subcontinent is a rich market for them. Who will need their arms and ammunition if India, Pak and Afghans are in peace with each other?
