BJP party in tricky position
by padman on Nov 02, 2009 06:37 AM  | Hide replies

bjp party in tricky position. they can't remove yudi because of his services for the party (over 25 years i am not saying great though) and popularity among his caste and huge support for bjp party because of pro-h_du. at the same time, reddy are powerful and have for minimum 20mla and 5-10 MP supports in state. the current government is running with marginal majority. without reddy group it is hard for yudi to survive and for the bjp. but the problem start when yudi used reddy for operation kamal to attract MLA and MP from other states. it is expect that reddy group spents over 1000crores for operation kamal, re-election (those mla and mp got elected from other party resigned for ministership post and for money were forced to re-elect, which was burden of people). these reddy now want favour as return. though great yudi withdraw all the case against reddy on illegal mining. but the recent tax on iron ore lorry cause volcano in the bjp party. just like as you sow as you reap, yudi has to pay cost for his mistake.

there are many conspiracy theory behind this fight. recently AP CM K Rosaiah met yudi and made some deal to suppress reddy power in both state. there are some news about AP CM to fine reddy mining company 1000crores fine for illegal mining in the state. For AP CM it is one way to stop reddy power in his state.

i think this fight is not going to end. it may cost yudi post in future and eventually end 5 years term with in fighting and interesting to see how much people will tolerate this messy party. BJP state leaders are flying delhi every day to make impression on high command. i remember once people use to complain congress party for the same reason in the past, fact there is no difference. there are more drama and fun in karnataka politics

yudi is a cry babe. this immature is the leader of karnataka. he think people are fool and vote for him next for crying in public. who care if you lose CM seat. you can't even rule properly for 20 months. most of time wasted for matta, operation kamal, re-election and other drama like attacking on church, beating woman

Culture
by swetambar on Nov 02, 2009 05:46 AM

This is typical culture of Indian politics which is a very costly business now. The ROI and the break even decide which leader will continue. In this case Reddys have invested their money in the BJP/Yeddy and naturally they are looking for the reaping the returns rather faster as the inflation will push the break even time

Typical Indian characteristics...
by Globalcrusador on Nov 02, 2009 05:25 AM  | Hide replies

The political game being played out now in Karnataka is typical of the Indian psyche, with a few exceptions. We just can not stand any one being successful in our midst and must go out to pull him down, if he shows signs of being successful.
That is why all our Nobel laureates like Dr. Khorana are able to prove their merit abroad but not in India.

I have a diffent view, we have many slave minded ppl who are not able to come out of the mind set of subjects when the muslims and britain ruled the country. Even today we have the same type of dynastic rule (leaders born) and we hardly see leaders made

Yeddi's keep should spread the love
by just passing on Nov 02, 2009 02:23 AM  | Hide replies

A lot of these problems can be traced to jealousy of yeddi's good fortune at having netted a chick at such a ripe age. If his chick wants him to continue in power, she should act smart and spread the love and ease the tensions of disgruntled MLAs.

Mr. Ignorant - Reddys are in both Karnataka (mostly in Bellary and Raichur districts) and Andhra Pradesh. In fact, in Karnataka they are the power players at present
