India must help Pakistan enhance its democracy.
by New York on May 28, 2009 08:17 PM  | Hide replies

Pakistan as a nation is confused, prejudiced and sandwiched between Sharia (Saudi), Democracy (India) and Socialism (China).
One simple solution is using COMMON currency across Pakistan and India.

GOD SAVE AMERICA......
by damodaran mohan on May 28, 2009 08:04 PM  | Hide replies

Why should U.S. be alarmed ? Everything is going as per their script. They have achieved the regional balance of power by heavily arming Pakistan even looking the other way to Pak get NUKES clandenstinely. The american expressing of fear of the NUKES falling into wrong jihadi hands is also all Drama because it is going to be the Jihadis in unioform(within PAK ARMY) and not the bearded mullahas who are actually capable of NUKING India. If anything, it should be India who should be worried, not U.S. because they are the authors of the current scenario. Even the North Korean TESTS look to be stage managed by U.S., China, Russia etc. prior to their NPT, CTBT...agenda’s unilateral push with countries like India.

yes yes, US is responsible for Kashmir issue, for the hundreds of years of enmity between two groups of people who do not know how to talk and resolve and instead resort to building up arms, it is funny if it was not so sad. And any nuclear war between India and Pakistan might kill a few million people, but more than that it will affect the climate, it will pollute water, it will have a global impact.

two dirt poor countries, are ready for arms race, despite having 30 percent of population below poverty line lol. The logical way forward for both countries is increased cooperation to reduce terror1sm. Instead of that, both are building and buying more and more weapons. I wonder how those nuclear weapons will help in the reduction of terror1sm ?

The Communist demon China is the biggest threat after Pakistan . However America's policy may have gone wrong, they are still our good ally along with Israel .

this is an age old trick to intimidate India and hence get it signed NPT. Once India signs, Pakistan cannot deny signing.

Us itself has a stockpile of more than 1000 nuclear warheads. What about those we need to get rid of those first. So it applies with Russia, China and Isriel.
