Press standing for moral values of the society and coutry must survive. It is a revolution in medea if we are without these vices such as immodestly-clad women, no ads for banks, alcohol, fraudulent investments and movies.
Madhyamam, is just another newspaper, the reliion of the owner/editor does'nt influence the paper. Kerala is a great land where 62% hindus, 24% christians & 14% muslims, along with a relatively miniscule population of Jews live ruled predominantly by atheists (communists)...It is a perfect example of "Unity amidst Diversity" ... The people never see each other thro' the prism of religion but as humans with similar problems .. perhaps that's the reason why communism flourishes there. However, the irony of the whole story is that religion as practiced by the priests & followed by the devout is of the most orthodox tradition, be it Hinduism, Islam or Christianity. This conservative sense is equally matched by liberal behaviour & liquor is consumed in the gallons. It is & will remain a land of contradictions, coconuts, Communists & Congressman ... free to practice his faith ..whether conservative/liberal ..

MADHYAMAM, is acceptable for the secular population becos they don't feel it as a Muslim Newspaper. it ofcource give news about Muslim Issues. But in a eaqual way only. and not arguing for more for Muslims that is really belongs to them. GOOD LUCK FOR MADHYAMAM AND HIS EDITOR.
