Its time for the LTTE to pack up and say goodbye. The Sri Lankans are determined and quite rightly so to safeguard the territorial integrity of their nation State. Its cost many lives, economic ruin over the years, but finally they are set to achieve what they set out to. Indian going overseas ought to 'do- when in rome do as the roamns do". It will endear them and not generate bad blood. The earlier the LTTE surrenders the better as many innocent lives would be spared. Congrats to the Sri Lankans; they have a beautiful country, and are a beautiful people.

Congress has basically vetoed the UN on the debate by using its influence on the UK and the US. So for congress, as perfectly put in this month the economist, the situation is that Sonia Gandhi is on a personal revenge on the Tamils of Lanka( Babies, Children, women, elderly, men, youth). She is using India as an instrument for a planned genocide. So guys in TN, please donot vote for Congress, or karuna or Jaya. Karuna is looking after himself and his family, jaya when she was in power- tried to gave the red carpet treatment to ab Singalese general and president and was overuled by the BJP. This time the butcher of Tamils children have been given the red carpet treatment by Congress. So vote carefully in the LS.

Its high time that a third alliance is formed to fill in the vacuum created so that the people are able to teach a lesson to the big parties in Tamilnadu who sing songs of congress and follow its ideology.
Why Karunanidhi one day praises LTTE another day he disband. Why he want to arreswt VIAKO no one knew. Karunanidhi accepted he only send Viako to Jafna to have allaince. then why kARUNANIDHI should not BE ARRESTED. All politicians are dirty one who play with common human being.s.
Its a shame that some tamils look at LTTE as a savior, and a representative of tamils. Its a terrorist organization, and thats how it should be looked at. If what Sri Lankan army is being accused of genocide of innocent tamilians, i would like to know where were these supporters when LTTE killed so many innocent civilians, where were they when they killed Rajiv Gandhi? Is all that ok to you because non-tamils are being killed at that time? I hate congress, but that doesnt mean i want Sonia Gandhi, or Manmohan Singh to be killed. Our country itself is a victim of terrorism, we would love to have Lashar e Toiba in a position like LTTE is now, so why do we start supporting a similar terror group simply because it belongs to our community?

Just because its been 15 years doesnt make LTTE look good, does it? What about the civilians that LTTE has been killing in Lanka, is that ok, or are you gonna say that its ok because they are gone now? That way i guess it is now ok for the Lankan army to kill the innocent tamilians too, they are gone.. GONE!!

Ashish, Did u visit Sri Lanka?Then How u can say LTTE killed Tamil peoples in Sri Lanka?Did u know how many girls has been rapped by SL army?I don't want to tell anything about the peace keeping force which went to SL during Rajiv Gandhi't time.Every body konws what had happend to the innocent people during that time.So don't behave like SL army's spokesman.Just compare the attacks by SL army against tamil people and LTTE against SL people.Rajiv Gandhi's assasination original report still not given or discussed properly.

While i support Lankan armys efforts to destroy LTTE. But i do condemn Lankan army's atrocities, if any, on innocent tamils as well. Like you said i have never been to Lanka, i can say the same thing about u as well, so weather Lankan armymen raped tamilian women or not, we would never know sitting here. Point is we neeed to condemn violence, oppression against any and every community, weather its tamils, sinhalese shouldnt be a consideration at all. Think about it man, there are men, women, kids, who have nothing to do with this conflict, gets killed leaving behind their families who depend on them. Now weather the one who was killed is from A, B or C community doesnt matter, its just sad isnt it? I think we all know that LTTE is a terrorist organization, we need to oppose it, especially given the fact that our country is a victim or terrorism too, why this suppot to LTTE then? How different is it frm the section of islamic fundamentalists whom we often accuse being supporters of terrorism?

The United States, Israel and the United Kingdom are among the three other major suppliers of war material to Sri Lanka. While Israel continuously tests its weapons in Gaza and the larger Palestinian territory, USA and UK have been reportedly testing theirs in Afghanistan, Iraq and Sri Lanka. 3. Vanni provides an excellent testing ground for these weapons because the people are miserably poor and are completely cut off from the rest of the world. The so called Co-Chairs, viz., Japan, UK, USA, supported by India encouraged Sri Lanka in kicking out all International NGOs. committed to Human rights. 4. With the help of India, Sri Lanka has very successfully campaigned the European union, USA and Canada to suppress the Tamil community and its fundamental democratic rights for freedom of expression, freedom of movement and freedom of association by inflating beyond proportions the banner of Tamil .

Srilankans use many systems which are worster than atom bomb. Any confidence in such efforts continues to be eroded by the ongoing persistent aerial bombardment on towns and villages in the Tamil homeland.

By allowing Sri Lankan government getting military aid from China and Pakistan we Indians are getting more trouble. The fact that Srilankan govt is ruled by the Monks not by the parties, unecessarily we are getting trouble on our feet.

This is not a tamil issue, its a Sri Lankan issue, the country is fighting terrorists, and doing a much better job than our country. I applaud that country for caring for their citizens, showing the guts to whipe out, and kill those terrorists who kill their citizens.
