According to what is reported in The News, it seems Mr Krishna has said "Pakistan and India should resolve all their outstanding issues mutually; however, if any friend country wants to play a role in this connection, then India will have no objection to it". This is not the position that our government has been taking all along. Mr Krishna seems to be out of touch with our country's stand on different issues. Such statements create needless doubts. Compare this to the way Chinese deal with issues of importance to their country. You will not find any loose statement coming out of their officials.

maybe, it's the new stand.. but certainly it's a weak one.. I believe we should give some more leeway to the Kashmiris.. They have been downtrodden way too long.. Get them into the peace process, we need to search inside: no third country needed
